Fun games and competitions for the anniversary. Cool competitions for adults, having fun at the birthday party table

Birthday is the most favorite holiday for an adult or child. It’s good when it is celebrated in the company of friends and family. The most popular will be fun birthday contests. And then only treats and outfits. Competitions can be held in a small or noisy company at home, at a table, or outdoors. To celebrate at home, you should decorate the apartment with balloons, prepare competitions and all the necessary details for them. To do this, simply choose a host or organizer of the holiday.

Children's competitions for kids

Children expect miracles more than ever and believe in magic. For them, organizing a birthday party requires special preparation and knowledge. Depending on the age of the child, a competition at the birthday party or a fun game is determined. Very young guests have enough attention for literally thirty minutes, and then they quickly switch to something new or more interesting. Without overloading, it will be enough for the kids to hold two or three competitions and then invite them to the sweet table. Here are examples of competitions for the youngest birthday boys and their guests.

Each age category of children has its own interesting competitions and games. Let us give several such examples.

If the birthday is celebrated in winter, you can hold a “Dress the Christmas Tree” competition among two teams. Teams are given a sheet of Whatman paper and beautiful stickers. The goal of the competition is to stick the largest number of stickers on the Christmas tree, thereby decorating it. Stickers can be replaced with cut out shapes from colored paper and glued to a regular glue stick. The team that decorated the Christmas tree the fastest wins.

Then you can play a faster and more active game. The guests are divided into two teams. Each participant takes off one shoe or sandal from one foot and places it in a common pile. Then each player from both teams starts and runs to the pile. He looks for his shoes, puts them on and returns to pass the baton to the next participant. The team that puts on its shoes the fastest wins.

The competition “Who said “meow!”” will also be useful. One person is selected and sits with his back to the other players. Everyone takes turns pronouncing the sound of the animal they wished for. For example, “meow-meow”, “ku-ka-re-ku”, “pee-pee”. The person sitting must guess which of the participants owns a certain animal sound. If you manage to guess, then the child whose voice was guessed changes the seat.

For children who are about to go to school or have already started attending school, you can choose entertainment that is more intellectual or with the ability to fantasize. For example, the “Pencil Shooting Range” competition. Children are divided into two teams. The presenter prepares two Whatman paper. Hang them on a stand or attach them to the wall. On the reverse side squares are drawn with numbers from 1 to 10.

The time allocated for the competition is five minutes. Each child runs up to a piece of paper and randomly makes a hole with a pencil. At the end of the competition, whatman paper is turned over and points are counted. For example, if the hole on the back side lands in the square numbered 8, then the team is awarded 8 points.

For a more active and noisy group of children, the game “Invisible” is suitable. All children dance to the music with their eyes closed. The presenter chooses any person he likes and hides him behind a screen or takes him out of the room. Leaves a hat in an empty place. The music stops and the participants guess who has turned invisible. The first child to guess correctly wins.

Team competitions will be interesting for creative kids. One of these is for ingenuity and the development of imagination. The guys are divided into two teams. Two Whatman paper are attached to the wall or stand. Pencils and markers are provided. For a while, participants run up to whatman paper one by one and draw one geometric object. For example, circle, square, oval, trapezoid. Together we should make a home. The team that uses the most geometric shapes wins.

It is possible to take older children to their name day, to nature, to a children's cafe, or just to stay at home within four walls. Universal competitions and games will help organize leisure time. For example, a player makes a paper airplane and flies it. Each child takes turns using a wad of paper to try to shoot down the plane. The winner is the one who shoots down the flying object first.

Any competition with drawings will be universal. For example, any participant is selected. He stands with his eyes closed and holds a felt-tip pen without a cap in his hand. Each participant, in turn, approaches the felt-tip pen with his own sheet of paper and tries to turn and move so that it turns out to be the sun. After the end of the competition, all drawings are added up and evaluated by all participants. The child who gets the most pluses in his drawing wins.

Some entertainment needs to be prepared in advance before the birthday, while there are no friends. Usually these are competitions related to attention and the search for some object. A striking example will be the Mushroom Picker competition. Cuts out and colors different types of mushrooms. You can use regular clothespins or matches. Symbolic mushrooms are hung and laid out around the room. Children come in and pick mushrooms. The most attentive mushroom picker wins.

For older children, you can hold events with funny birthday contests. In any setting at home or outdoors, a competition with notes will be relevant. For example, on culinary topics. Guests are divided into two teams. Each child takes turns writing any product on a piece of paper. Then he folds the paper a little and passes it to the next team member. After five minutes, the presenter says the word; "Start". Participants unfold the sheets of paper and come up with a funny recipe for a dish using the products listed on the sheet. The team that came up with the most original recipe and its name wins.

Competitions for this age to use acting skills are interesting. For example, the presenter prepares leaves with the names of animals. The names of the animals must be repeated twice. All leaves are folded and mixed. Players pull out a piece of paper. They use facial expressions to find their mate. For example, an elephant an elephant, a monkey a monkey. The couple that has found each other shows their leaves to the presenter. Afterwards the winner is determined.

Active games with the opportunity to compete to see who is faster still have their place. But not quite childish, but with some zest and intrigue. For example, the presenter prepares pairs with mittens according to the number of participants. One of the pairs should have only one mitten. Everyone moves in a circle to the music. The music stops and everyone quickly rushes to the box and puts on two mittens from the same pair. The participant who is left with one mitten takes any mitten from the participant he likes and leaves the competition. In the end, the child who is left with one mitten at the end of the last tournament wins.

Competitions for teenagers

Boys and girls are already quite capable of organizing their leisure time on an equal basis with adults and even independently holding competitions at birthday parties. For example, draw a gift with your own hands for the birthday boy. The guys are divided into two teams. The host offers to draw a gift for the birthday boy. At the end of the room, two Whatman paper are attached and markers are placed next to each other. Each team member runs up to whatman paper and draws only one detail. The winner is the team whose gift is more understandable and pleasant.

There are competitions with a mysterious plan. A competition is interesting when no one knows about it in advance.

The presenter asks to empty the pockets of all participants and lay out the contents. The one whose discovery turns out to be the most interesting wins. The winner is determined by the loudest applause or secret vote of the participants.

You can hold a competition with some humor. It should be held among non-offensive friends with a good sense of humor. The birthday boy is blindfolded and mittens are put on his hands. Each guest comes up in turn, and the birthday boy, by feeling him, must guess who is in front of him. It is prohibited to remove mittens. The children who are guessed are eliminated to join their own, and those who are not guessed to belong to strangers.

Intellectual and dance competitions for adults

Adults are not too fond of active games and competitions. It will be a difficult task for the toastmaster to cheer them up. Intellectual events are suitable for a feast, and dance events are suitable for relaxing the soul. Let us give examples of a couple of such competitions. The leader prepares two bags. Guests write notes indicating the gift they would give if possible. The notes are signed and placed in one of the bags. The second bag contains task tokens. The presenter writes invented tasks for them in advance. The birthday boy pulls out a note from one bag. Everything is read out loud.

The presenter solemnly announces that the item will definitely appear to the birthday person during this year if the author of the note completes the task on the token. The author takes out a token from another bag. The guests observe how sincere his desire was.

This dance competition for a birthday will delight married couples and guests who do not know each other.

When the guests have become acquainted and relaxed, you can move on to dancing. Guests are divided into pairs. Each couple chooses a forfeit with the name of the dance. For example, waltz, tango, sambo. The participants stand with their backs to each other and make a hand lock. In turn, each couple comes to the center and performs their dance. The presenter selects the winners and presents the prize.

Competitions for those who like to celebrate outdoors

Most often, families go out into nature or with guests of different ages. For such an occasion, universal events for all ages and interests are suitable. The funniest and most reverent competition “Whale”. The more participants play, the more interesting it will be. All participants join hands and stand in a round dance. The leader is in the center of the round dance. He speaks the names of two animals into each guest's ear. After the animals are distributed, the presenter calls them out loud. The participant to whom the animal corresponds needs to sit down.

The two other participants who are standing nearby must react quickly and prevent him from sitting down. The twist is that the presenter gives out different first names. The second ones are the same. This word is a whale. Each guest has two words. For example, a cat and a whale, an elephant and a whale, a crocodile and a whale. At one point, he calls the catch word “whale” and everyone falls to the ground laughing.

It's good to move around in nature. You can also play active games. For example, with balloons. Participants are divided into two teams. Accordingly, one is given red balloons, the other - blue. The balls are tied to the legs. The task is to burst the opponent's balloons on command without using your hands. The team that has at least one marble left wins.3
Of the funny competitions, any competition with transformation would be worthy. For example, everyone’s favorite contest “The Mummy”. Participants are divided into pairs. Preferably a boy and a girl.

Two rolls of toilet paper are provided per couple. The task is to wrap paper around your partner, leaving holes for the eyes, nose and mouth. The fastest pair with a high-quality mummy wins.

If the day turns out to be hot, without any preparation, feel free to hold a rope competition. Participants are divided into two teams. They are asked to weave a rope from their clothes. You can also use attributes - watches, hats, socks, backpacks. Whose rope turns out to be longer wins.

Funny competitions

For a noisy and cheerful company, leisure time with a twist is suitable. It is desirable that the competition be unpopular and no one knows about its secret.

For example, a competition with a trick. Several guys or men are selected for it. They are taken to another place for a while. The task is explained to everyone else. Each male participant must complete an obstacle course of outstretched legs, seated participants. The eyes are blindfolded. It is necessary to step carefully, trying not to touch anyone’s feet. Participants stretch their legs. After blindfolding, the legs are removed and the contestant is cheerfully encouraged. Everyone is deliberately shouting different instructions. For example, walk higher, to the left, etc. After completing the obstacle course, the participants are untied, and he cheerfully watches the next competitors from the side.

For a more relaxed company, games with notes are suitable. For example, Participants are given one sheet each. On one sheet of paper, each participant needs to draw the thing they will save first. On the second sheet - depict the reason why they will save this particular thing. The sheets are laid out in two boxes. With objects in one, with reasons in another. Everything gets mixed up. The presenter takes out one sheet from each box. It turns out to be a funny story. For example, “I will save jewelry because it is pleasant to walk on.”

Competitions at the table

"Associations"

One guest is selected. In a circle, each participant names an association associated with the selected guest. It is necessary to explain why. For example, fruit. One guest may say: “The guest looks like a banana because he is tall in appearance, but his character is mysterious, like the banana itself hidden in the skin.” Everyone takes turns naming the fruit and the association with the chosen person. Can't be repeated. In the second round, you can choose another person and compare him with a vegetable, real estate, car brand or movie. The winner is revealed by the birthday boy.

"Song Competition"

Prepare the competition for the event finale. Guests are grouped at the table into two teams. Each one takes turns singing a song of a questioning nature together. The second team needs to come up with an answer song and perform it. The team that does not have time to sing the song as an answer or question loses.

"Magic liver"

Before sending off guests, you can give each guest a magic liver with surprises. The hostess puts a plate of her baked livers on the table. Each one contains a note with good wishes. Such a surprise will prolong the good mood and consolidate the impressions from the holiday.

Birthday competitions are selected according to the age of the guests. If guests are of different generations, you can organize unique competitions - interesting for everyone. It is worth taking care in advance who will be the leader and organizer of the process. Perhaps the presenter will need an assistant. It often happens that the birthday boy himself takes on the image of the host. In such a role, refusing to participate in a competition or game is quite difficult. After all, how can you refuse a birthday party?

You can organize competitions from the examples given, or you can come up with your own. There should be several competitions in stock in case the guests get too excited. In any case, the birthday will be a great success. The main thing is good company and true friends!

When a group of adults gathers around the table to celebrate someone's birthday, the feast usually turns into nostalgic memories of the past. There is nothing wrong with this, but turning such a happy day into empty chatter and filling stomachs with delicious food is not at all the format of the holiday that the birthday person wants. How to revive such a company? Of course, use the most fun competitions! Their selection is so large and varied that it is suitable for both relaxed young people and more mature birthday people.

Alcohol competitions

Transfusions

Birthday competitions for a group of adults are often complete without alcohol, for example, this one. A glass of alcohol (can be water) and an empty glass, as well as a straw for a cocktail, are placed on the table in front of each participant. Their task is to quickly pour liquid from one glass to another using a straw.

Fun toast tasks for guests

Not all people love and know how to give toasts, and many simply get off with the banal “I wish you health and happiness!” Therefore, very funny alcoholic competitions for adults’ birthdays are especially popular. To avoid these difficulties, and at the same time amuse the audience, you can invite guests to say congratulations in an unusual style. Each guest should be given a piece of paper with instructions on how he should make his toast. Here are some fun options available here:

  • Compose a congratulatory phrase, all words of which begin with the same letter, for example, “We wish you hot wishes, a cheerful life, burning women!”
  • Use some animal in your congratulations, for example, “Stay slim like a doe!”
  • Connect the congratulatory speech with food, for example, “May your life be sweet as honey!”
  • Make a toast in a foreign language.
  • Give a list of words from which the speaker himself must compose his toast.
  • Sing your congratulations.

Vulgar contests

Scrambled eggs

Anyone looking for funny moving competitions can choose one that will become the climax of a party for a well-warmed-up company. The most “out-of-touch” men will agree to participate in it. A transparent plastic bag with a pair of raw chicken eggs is tied to each participant's belt on a string so that they dangle at knee level. The first couple is called to the ring. The “fighters”, with their legs spread wide and slightly crouched, begin to swing their bags of eggs with the help of swaying their hips, trying to hit their opponent’s eggs with them. The one whose eggs cannot stand it and break, leaves the battlefield in disgrace, to which the next couple is invited.

The winners who retained both or at least one egg then meet each other to determine the final winner, who after the end of the competition can safely be called “The Man with the Strongest Eggs” and awarded a special prize. Although this game is traditionally played among men, it can also be performed by women (after all, it is the hen, not the rooster, who lays the eggs).

Women things

The vulgar birthday contests for adults don’t end there. The next one is only for men who will feel a little like women for a while. At the same time, the task they are given is not at all difficult, every woman easily does it every day - they need to put on a bra, and as quickly as possible. This trick is not easy for all men, so the gathered guests will have fun watching the men try.

When all the participants in the competition are finally able to put the “cups” on themselves, identifying the winner, the next task will be to remove them, again, competing against the clock. Surely there will be one among the participants who, puffing and blushing, will say that he is used to taking off bras from girls, and not putting them on himself.

Fun replacement

To conduct this competition you need to choose a girl and two guys. The girl is laid on the sofa, and small edible objects (nuts, pieces of cookies, etc.) are laid out on her body. After this, one of the guys is blindfolded and offered to eat everything that is on the girl, without hands and blindfolded. At the command of the leader, the guy begins sophisticated attempts, but the whole point is that instead of the girl, another guy unnoticed appears on the sofa. The guy, increasingly falling into lust, only begins to feel something is wrong when wild laughter begins around him.

But remember, such obscene birthday contests are only acceptable for adults with a good sense of humor. Therefore, include this competition in your list only if you are confident that the company will react adequately to it.

Funny intimate contests

Beautiful maiden

Among the party guests, the host needs to select several ladies who came in skirts. Having found them, he lays a rug on the floor and blindfolds the ladies. Their task is to walk over the mat with their feet wide apart so as not to touch it. After all the girls have completed this task, the presenter quickly lies face up over the mat and asks the ladies to remove their blindfolds. The winner of the competition is the lady who blushes more than others when she sees the picture that opens. How do you like this funny intimate birthday contest?

Default

Recruit 3-4 couples to participate in the competition. Girls, accompanied by a fiery melody, must “make deposits” - hide small denomination bills in the clothes of their boyfriends. When all the “contributions” have been made, the young people are swapped, and the presenter suddenly shouts “Default! Take your deposits!” To a different tune, the girls must have time to find and remove the “deposits” within a certain time. It would be even more interesting to offer to take away other people’s “deposits”.

Laughing competitions and entertainment

For some reason, more often respectable people believe that entertaining competitions are more suitable for children, however, this is not so. Even respectable adult uncles and aunts can be involved in laughing birthday contests. You just need to relax, trust the presenter, and get not only pleasure, but also a good mood!

Compromising evidence

Adults should involve married couples in such competitions and birthday entertainment. Men, secretly from their wives, write the names of any 10 animals under numbers on a piece of paper. The women in their circle do the same. When the game begins, the presenter begins a phrase and asks the wives to continue it with the word that appears under the first number in the list, and for the following questions words are added strictly according to the list. It turns out that the husband:

  • Beautiful as...
  • Affectionate as...
  • Sociable as...
  • Independent as...
  • Authoritative as...
  • Strong as...
  • Fast as...
  • Character similar to...
  • Externally similar to...
  • Etc.

Then the turn to characterize the wives goes to the husbands. And then it turns out that the wife:

  • With relatives, like...
  • In transport, how...
  • In the store, like...
  • With colleagues, like...
  • With friends, like...
  • In a cafe or restaurant, like…
  • On vacation, like...
  • With children, how...
  • The spa is like...
  • Etc.

Draw an elephant

Guests are divided into two teams, which are given a piece of paper. Next, team members take turns and blindfolded draw elements of the elephant: the first - the body, the second - the head, the third - the trunk, the fourth - the legs, etc. The winner is the team whose drawing is a little more reminiscent of this animal.

Substitution

Birthday competitions do not have to be crowded, for example, 3 people participate. The host sits them down at the table and places a plate in front of each: one with a piece of banana, another with an apple, the third with a piece of cake. After that, he blindfolds them and explains that they must, on command, eat their treat as quickly as possible, without using their hands. But after all participants are blindfolded, their desserts are replaced with something else, for example, instead of a banana, a cucumber, instead of an apple, a lemon, and instead of a cake, a piece of sausage with mustard. The winner will be the participant who, despite the unexpected taste of his treat, eats it first.

Milk the cow

Do you want contests with balloons? They can be extremely fun, especially if they are not ordinary balloons, but medical gloves. Participants should be divided into pairs and each pair should be given a rubber glove with pin pricks on each finger. Water is poured into the gloves. One player holds the glove, and the second tries to “milk” it. The one who milks the most is the winner. This competition looks all the more fun the fewer people involved who know what the milking process looks like.

Potato

Cool moving competitions are very diverse. In this case, pairs of players can compete, with a potato tied to their belts on a long cord, which should almost touch the floor. Two empty cigarette packs are placed on the floor at the start line. The opponents’ task is to push their pack of potatoes swinging between their legs to the finish line faster than their opponent.

Cool harmless competitions for everyone

25 compliments

All guests of the holiday should be divided into 2 teams and each should be given a blank sheet of paper. In 2.5 minutes, each team must write 25 compliments on their sheet. After this, the presenter selects the sheets and compares the inscriptions on them, crossing out identical compliments. The team that writes the most original congratulations is declared the winner.

Connection

There are also competitions for the birthday boy, in which he takes part along with the invited guests, and here he gets the main role. The birthday boy is seated in the center of the room on a chair or at the head of the table, so that from there he can see everyone gathered. Only the host stands behind him and from there shows the guests cards with some facts (“wears a suit,” “gave birth to twins,” “traveled abroad,” “rides a bicycle,” etc.) concerning someone of those present. The one to whom this fact applies must rise from his seat, and there may be several such people. The birthday boy’s task is to understand what fact connects these people.

find me

The presenter should distribute pieces of paper to everyone present at the birthday party, on which they must give a description of their appearance. After this, all the leaves are collected in a box or bag. The presenter takes the first piece of paper out of the box, reads it out, and everyone tries to guess who this description fits. Each contest participant has only one attempt for each description. The one who can identify the most guests from their descriptions wins the competition.

Magic ball

This modern birthday competition is a bit like the American habit of wrapping small gifts in many large boxes. Well, we can transfer this tradition as a joke to our holiday. To do this, we will make a “magic” ball.

First you need to prepare: find short riddles and write them on scraps of paper. Then you need to take a small souvenir and wrap it in foil. Attach a piece of paper with a riddle to the foil with tape. Then wrap the gift again with another layer of foil and attach another riddle to it again. The result of such layers should be at least 6-7. In this case, the most difficult riddle should be in the depths, and the simplest one on the outside.

Next, you need to cast lots to see who will be the first to begin unwrapping the resulting magic ball. Having removed the first layer of foil, the first participant gets to the first riddle, which he must solve in 5 seconds. If he fails, then everyone else comes to his aid, and the one who does it first gets the right to remove the next layer of foil and guess the second riddle. In the end, whoever solves the last riddle wins this prize.

Guess it

Such competitions for adults are quite acceptable at a children's birthday party. Guests should be divided into two teams, which should be seated on opposite sides of the table. Determine a leader for each team. The first team must think of a word on a topic related to the birthday celebration, and its leader must secretly tell this word to the leader of the opposing team. He should try to portray this word to his team with facial expressions and gestures. Players can ask him questions, but the host can only nod yes or no.

You can guess the word within 3 minutes, and if it remains unguessed, the team is punished with a phantom, for example, by singing a song in honor of the birthday person.

How to use?

An object is placed on the table in front of the competition participants. Next, they take turns to come up with a real action that can be performed with this object. The player who could not come up with the next application is eliminated from the competition. In the end, there is only one winner.

Conductor

The leading “conductor” distributes cards with the names of cities to all players - “tickets” with destinations. He then starts asking if the player knows what country his city is in. If he answers correctly, then the conductor punches his ticket. The winner is the “traveler” who collected the most composted tickets.

Music competitions

Ditty competition

Unusual competitions set to music are always fun. For this singing competition, you need to prepare prizes and a list of interesting words that should be inserted into the ditties you are composing. From the guests present, you need to put together several teams of 3-5 people. Then the presenter says a word that each team must insert into their ditty. About 3-5 minutes are allocated for creativity. The team that does not have time to compose anything is eliminated from the competition, and the rest perform their ditties to the music. Next comes the turn of a new word and new ditties.

The team that manages to compose the most ditties wins. If several teams completed the task equally well, then the winner is determined by the volume of applause.

Who thinks about what?

If you decide not only to dance, but also to take a funny musical break, then you should first ask the host to prepare cool music competitions. He will select in advance fragments from songs that can somehow characterize the appearance or thoughts of the guests, and will also find a spectacular hat. When all the guests are sitting at the table, the host announces that he has acquired a magic hat that can read minds. After that, he puts it on the guest’s head and at the same time an excerpt of the song is played.

Which competitions did you like the most? What other interesting entertainment can you offer for an adult’s birthday? Write about it in the comments.

Whatever place you choose for your birthday - home, restaurant or nature - forget about work and other worries, be a child for a while without any complexes and have fun from the heart. To make a birthday fun for everyone, you don’t need much - prepare a lot of small prizes, choose cheerful music and simple props. It would be nice, in the spirit of the birthday boy, to choose games and competitions for your birthday, taking into account the composition of your guests, their age, range of interests, status, physical and other capabilities.

What to play for adults?

Labyrinth

For the game you will need several long ropes that need to be tied so that the participants, passing through the maze, are forced to sit down somewhere and crawl, or jump over somewhere. They invite another participant from another room and explain that he must remember the location of the ropes, because he will overcome obstacles blindfolded. The audience is allowed to give him hints. When the player is blindfolded, the ropes are removed, but the audience continues to give their advice, trying not to laugh to reveal the secret invisible labyrinth.

Eggs

A fun game for the spring holidays. A dozen eggs are placed in a bowl and the participants are explained that among the boiled eggs there is one raw one. Players take turns taking the egg, breaking it on their forehead. Whoever breaks a raw egg is the bravest. In fact, all the eggs are boiled, and the prize goes to the last participant, because he deliberately took the most risks.

Balloon Hunt

A balloon is tied to the foot of each participant (as low as possible) and the fighting begins. Everyone’s task is to protect their own balloon and burst all the others. On command, everyone rushes to play with the balls; the owner of the last “live” ball wins.

Sniffer

Many objects are hidden in the bag on strings, many of them with a characteristic smell. The first volunteer is blindfolded and, for example, an apple is taken out of a bag, hanging on a rope. Without using his hands, only using his sense of smell, he must guess the object. The solved apple is given as a gift, and the rest of the volunteers, inspired by the example, line up. The competition becomes more complicated - the next participant sniffs a can of beer or a scented candle. There are those who can detect banknotes by smell.

Games at an adult’s birthday party among colleagues and friends can be diluted with competitions with an erotic connotation such as “Guess the wife (girlfriend)” by hand or knee (with eyes closed), and not only women are offered for inspection. But if there are many elderly people among the guests, they are unlikely to appreciate the game of searching for clothespins on a girl’s clothes while blindfolded.

Games for children and teenagers - active and intellectual

ring

The company is lined up in a chain in the order “M-F-M-F”. Everyone has a toothpick in their mouth. The first person in the chain puts a ring on it. His task is to transfer it to another, from toothpick to toothpick (or match) without using his hands.

If you are preparing birthday games for children 8 years of age and younger, think about sufficient playing space - children and a large feast are incompatible things, they need to play, move, and have fun.

Remove all fragile objects from the room and, if possible, isolate sharp corners of furniture. This will help avoid child injuries at the holiday. If you have shy, inactive children in the company, do not terrorize them with active and theatrical competitions - they are unlikely to feel comfortable against the backdrop of the lively ringleaders.

Harvesting

The game can be either a group game or with two participants. In front of the participants is a vase with oranges. The task is to move all the oranges to another place as quickly as possible without using your hands!

Mummy

Team game. Each team is given a roll of toilet paper and, upon a signal, within a certain time they must wrap the mummy in the participant’s paper (preferably the smallest one - less paper will be used!). It is advisable that only the nose, mouth and eyes remain free. Whichever team has the densest mummy wins.

Where's the ball?

Participants stand in a circle. The presenter is in the center. The ball is passed around the outer circle (behind the back), and the presenter guesses who has it now. If he says "stop" and points at a player, he must raise his hands up to indicate that he does not have the ball. If the leader finds the ball, the players change places. To confuse the leader, you can make various deceptive movements, imitating passing the ball behind your back.

Aquarius

Summer team game, also suitable for the beach. Each team is given a bucket, and all participants are given cups. On command, the first participant draws water from a common container and carefully runs to his bucket. As soon as he passes the baton to the next one, he fills his glass. The team that collects the most water in a certain time wins.

Competition for the best sandwich

Mothers can organize this competition for children at a birthday party by preparing the necessary products: butter, cheese, sausage, mayonnaise, herbs, caviar, chopped vegetables. In 5 min. children must prepare a sandwich and decorate it. To complicate the task for older children, you can prepare sandwiches blindfolded, identifying the ingredients by touch, including the decoration of your masterpiece.

Get into the bottle

Three people also play, and they have ropes 50-70 cm long on their belts, only pencils of equal length are tied at the end. The pencil should hang down the back at about knee level. A bottle is placed in front of everyone. Team members must hit it with a pencil, crouching and not helping themselves with their hands. You can use background music, but the laughter of the fans will drown it out.

Birthday games for teenagers are not just active fun with jumping in bags, but intellectual ones, where you need to show ingenuity and ingenuity. They will happily puzzle over anagrams. Come up with a long word, like “reproduction,” and rearrange the letters or syllables. Whoever restores the word first wins. You can print out pictures with the coats of arms of Russian cities and cut them into pieces. Simple prizes in the form of small notebooks or chocolate medals will give children a lot of fun.

Guess what!

Children sit at the table, everyone has sheets of paper, a pen and a bandage. After everyone is blindfolded, the first participant is given an object, which he feels, trying to guess what it is. Then he passes the object along the chain to others, and he himself feels the next one. When the leader takes the last object from the hands of the presenter, the eyes are untied, and everyone writes down the names of the objects on a piece of paper in the order in which he studied them. The one who scores the most points – correct answers – wins.

Gourmet

Prepare some kind of dessert such as ice cream or jelly. Participants are given toothpicks. And everyone needs to eat their portion as quickly as possible with their own toothpick or fork.

Lids

Select a set of jars of different configurations and diameters. Participants are given scissors and thin cardboard. Without approaching the jars and evaluating them only visually, you need to cut out circles-lids that exactly match the holes in the jars. The one with the most “correct caps” wins.

Horse racing

This game requires a lot of free space; it works well on a picnic, with a sufficient number of participants. Both adults and children play. Dad, of course, is a horse, the child is a rider. All the “horses” are lined up and at the signal the races begin. Moreover, you can consider options for racing in full height or on all fours (if weather conditions and vegetation allow). You can play polo or even organize jousting tournaments. The tournament is won by the couple that knocks over all their opponents.

Earth, water, fire and air

To play you need a ball and 4-8 people. They choose a leader with the ball, the rest are located in a line 3-4 steps from the leader. The leader throws the ball to one of the children and at the same time names the key word - earth, water, fire or air. If a participant hears “earth,” he catches the ball and immediately sends it back, naming any animal that lives on the earth. When the word “water” or “air” is used, fish or bird are similarly called. If a participant hears the word “fire”, the ball cannot be caught - the player is considered to have received a burn. If, by inertia, he catches it (or names an animal that has already been mentioned in the game), then he leaves the game. Alternatively, you can leave him standing with his hands raised until the leader throws the ball to him again, giving him the opportunity to rehabilitate himself.

Blind turn

The game is good for developing coordination in children (possibly also testing the degree of sobriety at an adult party). Everyone can play! If there is sufficient free space. The presenter lines up the participants at a distance of a meter from each other and blindfolds everyone. Then he gives commands - “left”, “right”, “around”, gradually complicating the task with commands: “two turns to the left, three - around”. The game takes place at a brisk pace. At the end, everyone’s eyes are untied and it’s very interesting to see who finds themselves in what situation. Those who completed all the commands correctly remain in the finals.

In!

Another coordination game. The presenter shows the movement: he salutes with his right hand, and extends his left hand in front of him, clenching his fingers into a fist and sticking his thumb up. At the same time he says: “Wow!” The guys must repeat this movement after him. Then everyone clapping their hands and changing hands, the gestures are repeated. The game is a lively, knockout game. Adults monitor the precise execution of movements.

Game for the polite

The number of participants and age are not limited. The presenter invites the participants to follow simple commands: “touch the tip of the nose”, “scratch the left ear”, etc. The peculiarity is that the command can and should be performed only after the word “please”. Until it sounds, you cannot move! Participants who were unable to respond adequately leave the game.

Parrot

The game develops in children the ability to feel another person by voice intonations. The presenter tells how a person expresses his feelings with his voice. The same phrase - “I want to sleep” or “where is my shirt” - is pronounced with different intonations and the children must guess what feeling was intended.

Well, who didn’t love their own birthday as a child? This is the day when all the closest and dearest gather, friends come, give a bunch of gifts, cut a delicious cake. These are the most fun and vivid memories of childhood, and to make them even brighter, parents need to work out a scenario for a children's party, birthday competitions. The main thing is not just to meet guests and sit at the table, but also to entertain them, giving the child and his friends the opportunity to unite even more, have fun to the fullest and remember this day as the best in life. But what kind of competitions are needed for a child's birthday? We will offer you many options, and when choosing, be sure to take into account the age of the children and choose the most interesting games for everyone present.

Competitions for children 3-6 years old

Mind games

Intellectual competitions at the table are good because they help save parents’ home from the chaos and destruction that naughty preschoolers threaten it with. Of course, children cannot be captivated by such fun for a long time, but for a while they will be “neutralized,” and at the same time, watching their games will help parents learn something new about their child.

The simplest birthday contests for children can be represented by riddles that can be chosen for any age:

"Guess what I see"

The adult verbally describes the object, and the children must understand what is being said and find this object in the room.

An adult or child depicts something or someone, and the rest of the children must understand what or who it is.

"What's missing?"

Several objects need to be laid out on the floor, sofa or chair, which children must look at for a while, after which they must turn away, and the adult removes one of the objects. After this, the children look at the “exposition” again and must remember what disappeared from here.

Fairytale Quiz

The fairytale quiz is also one of the interesting competitions for children's birthdays. Here you need to come up with a series of questions based on famous children's poems, cartoons and fairy tales, and provide prizes for correct answers - toys, chocolate medals, etc.

Board games

Mini competitions for children can be presented with their favorite board games, which the whole family loves to spend their leisure time with. Although in our time they have been supplanted by tablets and cartoons, they can easily find a place at a children’s party:

Action games

Particularly interesting are the “adventure games”, where each player has a piece with which he moves around the playing field for the number of steps that is rolled by the dice. These games are good for groups and can be played by children of all ages. In addition, in modern games the chips are made unusual, and manufacturers accompany the games with exciting tasks.

Cards

Now on sale there are exciting and colorfully designed games for children of all ages. With them you can play “Shuffle”, “Dobble”, “Dubble”, “Memory” and many other games - everything that can be found on the Internet.

"Guess what you're eating"

This delicious game is suitable for any age. Children are asked to close their eyes and taste something edible that an adult will put in their open mouths. This is a very funny competition, because it turns out that it is not so easy to determine the taste of a dish without seeing it.

Outdoor games

"Cold-hot"

The game is a variation of the classic hide and seek. An adult hides a toy in the room, and the children’s task is to find it, following the clues from the words “cold” and “hot.”

"Magic Tunnel"

For this game you will need a children's tunnel, but it can easily be replaced by a small table or chair that a child can crawl under. His task is not just to climb into the tunnel, but to come out of there in a new guise, portraying someone: an animal or a fairy-tale character. Other children must guess who came out of the magic tunnel. The one who guesses correctly goes into the magic tunnel himself.

Ball games

Competitions for 4-year-old children's birthdays include good old-fashioned fun that combines tasks for erudition, intelligence, fun and moving elements. So, in the “edible-inedible” game, the leader sits the children in a row and, in turn, throws a ball to each child, pronouncing a word. If the word means an edible object, then the ball must be caught, and if it is inedible, then it must be pushed back with your hands. In another version, the children stand in a circle, and the leader throws a ball to one of them and asks them to name a color, fruit, vegetable or flower. Children need to simultaneously catch the ball and remember the appropriate object.

Role-playing games

Children love most when competitions for children's birthdays of 6 years old contain role-playing games. In order for a group of children to have a lot of fun, you can invite them to temporarily become brave Indians, overcoming obstacles, fighting hostile tribes and performing funny dances. You can transform into brave knights, beautiful princesses or fire-breathing dragons, into fairy tale or cartoon characters - the choice here is unlimited. Of course, such competitions are done with their own hands, so parents will have to try hard to create costumes and attributes. In addition, they themselves can take part in the fun with the children, releasing the child hiding in the depths of their soul for a short time.

Competitions for children 4-12 years old

It is most convenient to think about holding competitions at a children's birthday party if all the children present at the party are the same age. However, often, especially at the birthday of preschoolers, not only peers are invited, but also relatives with their children, sisters and brothers - then a variety of children's ages can be represented at the holiday. This happens because the child himself still lacks his own friends and peers, so instead of them, relatives of all ages come who know the birthday boy from a young age and are happy to congratulate him. In this case, the ideas for birthday competitions for children will simply require a little more effort from the parents, but in the end, the children themselves will find ways to begin to interact better, and besides, such contact between them will bring the younger ones invaluable experience of interacting in a team.

"Tails"

This game involves pairs of players, each of whom has a rope tied around their waist so that a small “tail” hangs from behind. The players' task is to be the first to catch their opponent by the tail and prevent him from doing the same. This fun competition can be enjoyed with lively music. The game trains reaction and dexterity.

"Collective Art"

To play this game, children need to be divided into 2 teams. The first members of each team draw a head and neck on the top of their sheets, while the rest of the participants do not see what exactly is drawn. Then the presenter folds the top of the sheet, covering the image, and only the lower part of the neck remains visible. After this, the second player approaches the sheet and continues the drawing. Then the presenter wraps this part of the sheet, leaving only the lower part of the lines of the drawing. So gradually the drawing grows downwards, and all team members put their hands on it in turn. At the end, the presenter unfolds both sheets and everyone looks at the resulting image in surprise. Such competitions for children at their 6th birthday perfectly develop their imagination.

"Art relay race"

This game, which develops creative imagination and thinking, the ability to work in a team, is interesting but calm. Children are divided into two teams, which are given the task of drawing an animal or other object within a certain time. Moreover, in one approach, each participant can draw one line (straight, oval, circle, etc.). In the end, the team whose drawing more closely resembles the intended object wins.

"Candy on a Fishing Rod"

Instead of a fishing hook, you need to tie a candy to the fishing line using a candy wrapper. Using a fishing rod, you need to bring the candy to your mouth, unwrap it without using your hands and eat it. The child who can handle it faster wins. This game develops dexterity and coordination.

"Volleyball with a balloon"

Thanks to this exciting game, children develop dexterity, reaction, and coordination of movements. Children need to be divided into two teams, chairs should be placed at a distance of 1 meter from each other, and all players should be seated on them. A rope stretched between the chairs in the middle of the floor marks a grid separating the teams. Then a kind of volleyball begins, in which you need to throw a ball over a rope, and players are forbidden to take the ball in their hands (they can only push it with their palms) and get up from their chairs. If the ball lands on the floor in the opponent's half, the team gets a point. The game can be continued up to 15 points.

"Nesmeyana"

When thinking about how to hold a child’s birthday party at home, it is useful to select competitions that develop communication skills, ingenuity and imagination in children, like the next “Nesmeyana” competition. One of the children is chosen as Princess Nesmeyana and sits on a chair in front of the rest of the children. The rest of the children must try to make the “princess” laugh, but they must not touch her. The one who succeeds becomes the next Nesmeyanaya.

"Guessing Game"

Before starting the game with the children, a specific theme is selected (holiday, animals, furniture, etc.), after which the driver makes a wish for an object that corresponds to the chosen theme. Players must guess what was chosen using clarifying questions to which the driver can only answer “yes” and “no.” The first one to guess what is planned becomes the driver himself. With the help of this game, children train communication skills and develop thinking.

"Hold the Ball"

Contests at children's birthday parties at home often require a lot of space, but not this one. Two pairs of players take part here. Each pair must be placed in a circle formed by a hoop or a circle drawn on the floor. Each couple is given a balloon. Their task is to try to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible, blowing on it, but without touching it with their hands so that it does not fly out of their circle. The pair that can hold onto their ball the longest wins. With the help of this game, reaction, dexterity, coordination, and breathing apparatus are trained.

"Eskimo blind man's buff"

A driver is selected from among the children, whose hands are put on thick mittens and blindfolded. After this, children approach him one by one, whom he must recognize by touch. If he succeeds, then the identified child becomes the driver, and if he makes a mistake, he tries with the next players. With the help of such a competition, children develop memory and spatial imagination.

"Winkers"

Active and fun competitions for children’s birthdays can train attentiveness, and the best game for this would be the “Blinkers” game. Children need to be divided into two equal teams and a leader must be chosen. Chairs are placed in a row, on which the first team sits, and a chair is placed opposite, near which the leader stands. Members of the second team stand behind the players sitting on chairs. The host looks around at the seated players and winks at one of them. The player who received the wink must quickly move to a chair near the leader, and the task of the player standing behind him is to grab him in time to prevent escape. If the escape is successful, then this player himself becomes the leader.

"Broken phone"

With the help of the fun game “Broken Phone,” children quietly sharpen their attentiveness and hearing. The presenter whispers a phrase or word into the first player's ear, after which he turns to his neighbor and conveys to him what he heard in the same way. So, along the chain, the message reaches the last player, who says out loud what he heard, and the presenter loudly says what he himself conveyed. After this, the leader is sent to the end of the chain, and the first player becomes the leader.

"Confusion"

Children love cool competitions where they can practice thinking, logic and attentiveness. All children need to be lined up in a circle, holding hands. Then the driver turns to the side, and the children begin to climb over each other as they please, but without letting go of their hands. After this, the driver, also without opening his hands, must unravel this tangle.

“We are writing a fairy tale for the birthday boy”

The presenter opens a book or magazine to the first page he comes across and blindly points his finger at a random word. The first storyteller needs to come up with a phrase in which this word will be involved. Similarly, all other participants in the game get words. You can even come up with not one, but several proposals. As a result, a funny story will be born in the game; all that remains is to write it down on beautifully designed paper and give it to the birthday person. Such games develop imagination and thinking, and expand vocabulary.

"Three, thirteen, thirty"

Before the game, the leader explains to the children which number indicates this or that action, for example, 3 - hands on the belt, 13 - hands up, 30 - hands forward. Then the children line up at arm's length, outstretched to the sides. Next, the presenter calls the agreed numbers in random order, and the children must perform the corresponding movements. Gradually the pace of the leader accelerates. The one who got lost and performed another movement stands next to the leader and tries to knock down the rest of the players with incorrect movements. At the end of the game, the most attentive and unprovoked player remains. Such competitions for guests at a child’s birthday train reaction and attentiveness.

"Clap"

Each player receives a serial number and stands in a circle. Then they all begin to clap rhythmically, alternating two handclaps with two kneeclaps. One of the players repeats his own number twice when clapping his hands, and the number of the other player when clapping his knees. The one whose number was announced, with the next claps of his hands, calls out his number, and with claps on the knees, the number of the next player. Anyone who loses this rhythm, forgets his number or calls a number that has already left the game, is eliminated from the game. The last two players remaining in the circle are declared the winners. This fun trains reaction, memory and attentiveness.

"Liberation Action"

The dynamic game “Liberation Action” promotes the development of coordination, attentiveness, hearing, reaction in the leading player, and in the other players - reaction and dexterity. Participants in the game sit on chairs placed in a circle. In the center of the circle, a “prisoner” with his hands and feet tied and a “guard” who is blindfolded are seated. The task of the “liberators” is to untie the captive, and the guard’s task is to prevent them. As soon as he touches one of the liberators, he is eliminated from the game and removed from the circle. Anyone who manages to free the “prisoner” without being caught turns into a “guard” himself.

"Hunting"

Active competitions for a child’s birthday can develop freedom, dexterity, and coordination of movements. In the game "Hunt", the names of the participants in the game are written on cards, which are then shuffled and distributed to the players. The player dances to the music and at the same time quietly looks at what name is written on the card he received. At the moment when the music stops, the hunter must catch the prey whose name is written on his card. But he also hunts for his prey. As a result, real chaos begins! After this, the cards are collected, shuffled again, dealt out and the game continues.

"Waves in a circle"

Make a circle of chairs standing close to each other, the number of which should correspond to the number of players. The driver is in the center of the circle, and the rest of the players sit on chairs. As a result, one chair remains free. The driver tries to sit on an empty chair, but the players must prevent him from doing this with their movements. If the driver manages to sit on an empty chair, then the player who missed him becomes the driver himself. Players move according to the driver’s commands “right” (clockwise one chair), “left”, or chaos (participants quickly change places, and the driver tries to take any empty seat). The player who sat on the chair that was free before the “chaos” command becomes the driver. Children train reaction, dexterity, and attentiveness in the game.

"Siamese twins"

All children need to be divided into two teams, in which there will be several pairs. Couples stand sideways to each other and put one arm around their shoulders. As a result, each "Siamese twin" has one right and one left hand. This creature needs to run to a plate of candy, unwrap the candy and eat it, feeding both heads. The pair that finishes all the candies the fastest wins. A variant of the task for the “Siamese twins” is to make an envelope out of paper and tie the laces on your shoes. This game strengthens teamwork skills.

"The Fisherman and the Goldfish"

The participants of this game line up in a circle, and the leader in the center twirls a jump rope and a rope with a knot at the end. The end of the rope should pass under the players' feet, and they should jump in time to avoid touching it. Anyone who gets hit by the rope is out of the game for a while. The game continues until there is only one participant left, who becomes the winner. It develops agility, coordination, endurance and attentiveness.

"Copy of the monument"

With the help of this game, which develops attentiveness in children, they gradually get rid of shyness. You need to choose two among the children. One will be the “copier” and will be taken out of the room and blindfolded. The second one will be a “monument”; at this moment he should take an interesting pose in which he will freeze. Next, a “blind copyist” is introduced, who must determine by touch the pose of the “monument” and take exactly the same one.

"Broken Fax"

In this game, children are seated one after another so that each next one looks at the back of the head of the previous one. The first and last players each receive a pen and a piece of paper. The last player draws a simple figure on paper, and then reproduces it by running his finger along the back of the player in front. He, in turn, draws with his finger on the back of his predecessor what he felt on his back. The player sitting first transfers his feelings to paper, after which the initial and final drawings are compared. With the help of this game, memory, hand motor skills, and attentiveness are trained.

"Cock-fights"

The floor is divided by a tape or rope, on either side of which two players stand in the starting position - on one leg, facing each other, with their hands clasped behind their backs. Everyone should strive to cross the border to the opponent’s side without touching the floor with their other foot or releasing their hands. At the same time, you still cannot allow the enemy into your territory. You can only push with your chest or shoulder. Anyone who breaks these rules is considered a loser. The game develops strength and coordination.

"Knees"

The players need to be seated close to each other, placing their left hand on the right knee of the neighbor on the left, and the right hand on the left knee of the opposite neighbor. If the circle is not closed, then the end players place one hand on their knee. In the game, you should quickly slap your knee with your hand without breaking a certain sequence. If someone clapped out of time or even just raised his hand, then he hides that hand. There may be several winners or just one. To make the game more interesting, you need to maintain a high pace. It trains reaction, hand motor skills, coordination, and attentiveness.

"Caterpillar"

Players stand one after another and place their hands on the belt of the player in front, forming a “caterpillar”. The first one becomes the head of this caterpillar, and the last one becomes the tail. Then music sounds, and the caterpillar begins to crawl forward, while the head performs various dance steps with any parts of the body, and the rest must try to repeat these movements. Tired, the “head” turns to the next player, strokes his head, and then stands at the tail of the caterpillar. Liberation, coordination, and attentiveness are trained here.
