Lining of conveyor drums. Drum lining Lining of drive drums of belt conveyors

Lining with replaceable elasto-metallic (EM) plates “MARAFON EK”» used for protection conveyor drums when operating them in the coal and mining industries, as well as when operating drums in aggressive environments, at temperatures environment from -45 to +180°C and air humidity no more than 98%.

MARAFON EK ® friction linings are a unique and proven method for increasing conveyor and elevator productivity. Specifically designed for direct installation on the drive drum, these products can transform any conveyor system into high-performance equipment without requiring much Maintenance. Along with a striking increase in the coefficient of friction (adhesion) between the belt and the drum, the drum surface is protected from damage, as well as self-cleaning, in which material does not accumulate on the drum.

The combinations of elastomers and design features the products provide significant advantages over traditional vulcanized drum liners, cold welding or attached to bolted connections. The unique factory fastening system eliminates the separation of the pads, making the MARAFON EK ® ideal option for severe operating conditions on high power drives or when using rubber rope conveyor belts.

Elastomers used in potentially hazardous mining processes, as well as during the transportation of grain and fertilizers, are approved federal service on environmental, technological and nuclear supervision and a certificate of conformity issued by VOSTNII.

Production of overlays

provides the possibility of producing elastomers of special composition for further vulcanization under high pressure on special steel plates that can be installed on any drums. The linings move in special holders welded or bolted to the surface of the drum.

Friction linings are made using modern elastomers, providing excellent adhesion to the drive drum, elastic movement and long service life. The elastomer maintains its integrity under the most severe operating conditions.

Hot vulcanization, performed in the factory under pressure, ensures excellent bonding of the rubber to the steel lining. There is virtually no overlay failure due to loss of adhesion and separation - the most common problems encountered with traditional overlays.

Steel linings are manufactured with high precision, which ensures the possibility of installation on drums of any diameter. The necessary stability of the linings and a long service life are guaranteed.

Stainless steel holders are welded or bolted to the surface of the drum for reliable fixation of the friction linings. When installed correctly, the pads do not move or come off under the influence of the transported material or belt movement.

These four features make MARAFON EK ® products a unique and reliable choice for installation on all conveyor and elevator drums. MARAFON EK ® pads can subsequently be replaced on site, usually without dismantling the belt or drum. Possible replacement Removing worn or damaged pads is even faster and easier since the holders are already installed.

LINING PLATE KV

PLATE KV is intended for lining / lining / drive drums of conveyors. Provides a BARREL SHAPE of the DRUM, preventing the belt from coming off.

It is possible to manufacture the KV plate in thermal/oil/frost-resistant/food-grade versions.

Due to the segmentation of the plate, it can be installed on drums of ANY diameter. It is possible to supplement especially long drums with strip lining produced by our company:

The plate is made of high quality wear-resistant rubber. It is a rubber plate with a welded metal sheet and a protector applied on one side. Attached to self-tapping bolts Ø 8mm (supplied). Installation of the plate does not require special equipment. preparation can be carried out by personnel in any weather conditions. An application has been submitted to the Patent Office for the KV lining plate.

Linear dimensions 500x600mm. The surface has holes for bolts.

The thickness of the plate along the edge is 12mm, in the center 24mm. WITH inside has the ability to divide into sectors: 340 - 110 - 140mm.

INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF LINING DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS

INSTALLATION OF LINING PLATE KV.

1. Mark the central axis of the drum.

2. Mark and cut the KV plate to the size of the drum using a cutting machine and knife.

3. Place the plate on the drum so that the thicker part is in the center of the drum. Drill holes for screws.

4. Install the plate completely.

5. Install the second plate.

6. Complete the sequential installation of the plates, if necessary, cutting them to the size of the drum.

Note: if necessary, it is possible to install additional plate mounting screws.

SLANK LINING

Lining strips are supplied in lengths up to 2 meters. Freely cut by cutting machine. During installation, it is recommended to leave a gap between the slats from 15 to 30mm. In the case of a gap of 15 mm, the consumption of slats per 1 sq. m of drum surface will be 12 linear meters. When calculating the number of slats, the gap between the slats is 15 mm as a basis.

The product is manufactured in RUSSIA.

When manufacturing a profile (tread pattern) lining plates can vary from smooth to any selected options

Plank dimensions: orange marked aluminum support plate

As an example: - strip lining is used at the enterprise when unloading cars using a car dumper. The load is sulphur. In order to prevent spontaneous combustion, the cargo is watered. The feeder tape is rubber rope, about 18mm thick. The plank lining ensures the movement of the belt when tipping and watering the entire volume of the car into the feeder hopper (about 60 tons) at any external temperature. To give the drum a barrel-like appearance, it is possible to combine the plank lining with the KV plate.

INSTALLATION\\REPLACEMENT OF LINING DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SPECIAL SKILLS

Unlike conventional liners that are glued to a drive drum, which typically must be removed from the conveyor, strip liners can be installed without having to remove the drum from the conveyor.

The mechanical fastening method significantly speeds up and simplifies the relining process, which provides financial and time savings. The strip lining elements are lightweight and can be easily operated by one person.

Durability - the thickness of the lining strip is 24mm. The strips are attached to the drum with self-tapping screws (France) M8, which ensures fastening strength, simplifies and speeds up installation and replacement of the lining

ADHESIVE LINING

We supply glue-on linings with a CN contact layer. Thickness: 6, 8, 10, 12mm.

We supply glue: cold vulcanization and metal primer. We provide advice on lining gluing technology. The work is quite simple. In the vast majority of cases, telephone support for work is sufficient.

The lining of drive and non-drive conveyor drums prevents slipping of the conveyor belt, significantly increasing its service life. Reduces the load on the drum drive.

Imported lining for drive drums

Quick-replaceable, easily removable lining of the drive drum of the belt conveyor - SLIDE-LAG

SLIDE-LAG - saves your money!

Minimum time spent on drum lining.

Strength

Slide-lag linings are made of a special grade of wear-resistant rubber, entirely vulcanized under high pressure (4,826.33 kPa) on durable thick sheet steel, which is pre-bent to the diameter of your drum. This method neutralizes internal stresses in the pad and gives maximum adhesion strength between rubber and metal. Using rubber with high density, ensures long service life. The retaining bars are also made of heavy gauge steel so that when installed, the retaining bars are firmly secured to the surface of the drum.

Self-cleaning

A special combination of diagonal slots on the rubber surface and the distance between the rows of linings on the drum allow particles of transported material to be removed from the area where the conveyor belt adheres to the lining.

Retaining bars

Double and single locking strips, as well as SLIDE LAG®, are available in a standard length of 1830 mm. They are made of Corten steel (anti-corrosion steel) or stainless steel.

GS - single locking strip
