What changes will there be in the Unified State Examination? Tests are removed, creativity is added

The main wave of the Unified State Exam 2018 has begun. 731 thousand people will take the exam, including 645 thousand graduates from previous years. Who will be allowed to retake the Unified State Exam? Why can they be kicked out of the exam? Is it possible to buy real assignments and answers online? Will Unified State Exam scores affect the grades on the certificate? The head of Rosobrnadzor, Sergei Kravtsov, answered questions from the hotline.

My son will take two levels of the Unified State Exam in mathematics (basic and specialized). If he does not pass the profile level, but passes the basic level, will he be able to retake mathematics at the profile level? Is it possible to retake the Unified State Exam to improve my scores? What result will be valid in this case?

Sergey Kravtsov: If you did not score the required points on the mandatory Unified State Examination, which is basic mathematics and the Russian language, then you can retake the exam this year on a reserve day. If it doesn’t work out again, then in September.

Elective subjects can only be retaken the next year. And when applying to a university, you can use any result that has not expired. You will probably choose the best one. If your son took the Unified State Exam in mathematics at both levels at once and passed one of the exams, for example, the basic one, then it is possible to retake specialized mathematics in a year.

Will the points received for the Unified State Exam in subjects affect the mark on the certificate?

Sergey Kravtsov: The results of the Unified State Exam do not affect the mark on the certificate. But if you do not achieve the required minimum in compulsory subjects - Russian language and mathematics, you will not be able to obtain a certificate. But in the 9th grade, the results of the Unified State Exam influence the grades on the certificate.

If you did not score the required points on the mandatory Unified State Exam, you can retake the exam this year

Where and when can I find out the results of the 9th grade exam?

Sergey Kravtsov: At my school. Processing and checking of examination papers takes no more than ten working days after the day of the examination.

For cheating we will be kicked out of the exam and will be allowed to take it in a year. And in France - in five years. Photo: depositphotos

Now on the Internet there are offers to “buy” the Unified State Exam, supposedly there are ready-made answers to all test options. Is the leak of answers or KIM-2018 themselves real before the Unified State Exam? How is this tracked?

Sergey Kravtsov: Information security measures at all stages of preparation and delivery of examination materials eliminate the possibility of leakage of assignments and correct answers. All supposedly variant assignments and correct answers appearing on the Internet turn out to be fakes. Therefore, all offers about the opportunity to buy options with the correct answers are nothing more than a banal scam. The new technology eliminates the influence of the human factor. By the way, the problem of additional forms for exam participants is also eliminated, and the time required to check the Unified State Exam is reduced. Last year, for the first time, we checked all the work not in 14 days, but in 10.

Some universities require an Unified State Examination certificate, where can I get it?

Sergey Kravtsov: The certificates have long since been cancelled. There are no paper certificates for the Unified State Exam. Inform the Rosobrnadzor hotline which universities require a certificate. We'll figure it out.

Sergey Kravtsov: On appeal, points can be either added or reduced. Photo: Arkady Kolybalov/ RG

If an 11th grade graduate does not agree with the scores given, what needs to be done to have the result revised?

Sergey Kravtsov: You can file an appeal about disagreement with the awarded scores within 2 working days from the date of announcement of the results. The graduate files an appeal at the school or to the conflicting commission. The conflict commission either grants the appeal or rejects it. But you need to understand that on appeal, points can be either added or reduced.

I submitted an application to take the Unified State Exam, in which I indicated four subjects (specialized mathematics, Russian language, physics and computer science), but by mistake, only three subjects were added to the database (all except computer science). What to do?

Sergey Kravtsov: The decision to add or change the selected subjects for the Unified State Exam is made by the state examination commission of the region. You should apply there with a written application. If it is confirmed that the operator made a mistake when entering data, the commission will make a decision and add the required item to the information system.

Will a Unified State Examination participant be removed from the exam if he is found to have a mobile phone at the end of the exam?

Sergey Kravtsov: It is prohibited to carry any communication equipment with you at the examination site. If this requirement is violated, the person will be removed from the exam and their results will be cancelled. And it doesn’t matter when the phone was discovered - at the end of the exam or at the beginning.

Will a child be allowed to take the Unified State Exam if he is late for the exam or has forgotten his passport?

Sergey Kravtsov: If a person is late for the exam, he is allowed to take the Unified State Exam, but the end time of the exam is not extended and no one will conduct repeated general instructions. A school graduate who, for some reason, came to the exam without a passport, is admitted to the exam reception point after an accompanying person from the school confirms his identity in writing. Graduates from previous years without documents are not admitted.

In what cases may they not be allowed to take the Unified State Exam?

Sergey Kravtsov: They will not be allowed to take the Unified State Exam if the graduate does not receive a pass for the final essay. There is one more requirement: only those students who have completed the full curriculum or individual curriculum and who have annual grades in all academic subjects for each year of study are not lower than satisfactory are allowed to take the Unified State Exam.

Is the school obliged to organize the delivery of GIA participants to the exam point if it is located several kilometers from the place of study?

Sergey Kravtsov: Delivery will be organized if the school or municipality has such an opportunity.

For how long are the Unified State Exam results valid?

Sergey Kravtsov: The results are valid for five years - in the year of passing the Unified State Exam and the subsequent four years.

Unified State Exam 2018 schedule

How to pass specialized mathematics with 100 points

Ivan Yashchenko, director of the Center for Teaching Excellence:

The demo version has evaluation criteria. Pay attention to them. If the problem is not completely solved, still transfer it to the final copy and you can get points. Problem number 19 is not an Olympiad problem, but of increased difficulty. Don't be afraid of such tasks, try to solve them. The answer can be very short and sweet. The latest tasks in the Unified State Exam are for those who want to get more than 80 points and go to leading technical universities. Calculate your strength. It may be enough for an economist to reach the 17th problem and solve it. It has an economic theme - credit, optimization... no special knowledge is needed, all you need to do is translate the problem into mathematical language. I would advise a future engineer to solve the 18th problem. In tasks where there are points: “find, calculate, determine...”, all points are assessed independently of each other, and you can get points for each. We do not ask you to indicate the names of the theorems and do not try to do so, so as not to confuse something. And one more thing: if, for example, in the 15th task in the Unified State Exam in the Far East there were logarithms, this does not mean at all that in Voronezh or Perm there will also be logarithms in this task.

Graduates sometimes ask: “Why is compass prohibited on the Unified State Examination in specialized mathematics?” A needle can damage the form, the machine may not “see” the pencil, so during the exam you only make a sketch. How does the Unified State Exam in specialized mathematics affect the gold medal? The exam has no effect. But in Moscow, a gold medalist must score at least 220 points on three Unified State Examinations. Is it possible to pass the specialized Unified State Exam if you studied using a textbook that is not currently on the list? There's nothing wrong. And you shouldn’t run to preparatory courses at universities to pass the specialized Unified State Exam in mathematics. The school course is enough.

How the Unified State Examination might change in 10 years

The oral part will be not only in the exam in Russian and foreign languages, but also in other Unified State Examinations.

You will be allowed to take the exam after you have completely completed the course, and you do not have to wait until you graduate from school.

Independent centers will appear in the regions where it will be possible to take the Unified State Exam and undergo independent diagnostics within a year.

The Unified State Exam will evaluate not only knowledge in a specific subject, but also the ability to apply it.

There may be tasks that require the use of Internet resources.

The Unified State Examination (USE) became the only form of final exams for schools quite a long time ago - in 2009, and was first tested at the turn of the millennium. Adjustments are constantly being made to the Unified State Exam rules, causing schoolchildren and their parents to worry every year.

It has been known for a long time that big changes await the Unified State Examination system. The first to announce this was Dmitry Livanov, the former head of the Ministry of Education. The new head of the department, Olga Vasilyeva, also said in her first interviews that the course of reform will be supported. The reform will continue for several years, and the Unified State Exam 2018-19 will be no exception.

Unified State Exam 2018-19: changes and news

The first thing that worries all schoolchildren: both those who are preparing for graduation and those who are just starting their studies is the question “Will the Unified State Exam be canceled in 2019?” The answer was given by both the current Minister of Education and the previous one: too much effort has been invested in the state exam system itself to talk now about its abolition. The Unified State Exam has proven to be an excellent system for testing graduates’ knowledge, providing objective and accurate assessments of students’ knowledge level.

Therefore, at the present time we can only talk about further reform of the Unified State Exam, about its transformations and changes. If the quantity and quality of the latter cause heated discussions, then the Unified State Exam will definitely not be canceled in 2019, as well as in subsequent years.

Compulsory subjects of the Unified State Exam 2018-19

How many subjects should I take for the Unified State Exam 2018-19? This question is of great concern to today's high school students. And there are reasons for such concern, or, more correctly, there were. The fact is that in one of the interviews, the previous Minister of Education Dmitry Litvinov said that by 2018 the number of subjects on the Unified State Exam will increase to six. In 2017, according to him, a third should have been added to the number of mandatory exams, and in 2018 - a fourth plus two optional exams, for a total of six. But with the coming to power of the new minister - Olga Vasilyeva - the strategy for reforming the Unified State Examination also changed.

The fact that a third should be added to the two compulsory subjects that exist today has been talked about for quite some time - the first rumors appeared in 2014. However, so far no action has been taken in this regard. And even at the end of the 2016-2017 academic year, graduates will continue to take three exams - two mandatory and one optional.

However, in 2019, that is, at the end of the 2018-2019 academic year, the third mandatory exam will most likely increase. This was said back in 2015, and officials from the Ministry of Education and Science confirm this. All that remains is to decide which subject will be included in the top three compulsory ones.

Today, history is considered the favorite among all other school disciplines. Even the president spoke in favor of the subject, noting that today schoolchildren’s knowledge of their native history leaves much to be desired. As the minister noted, making the discipline one of those for which mandatory exams are taken will increase interest in science and force both students and teachers to pay more attention to the subject. Whether this is so - time will tell.

In second place in popularity is social studies. As FIPI statistics show, schoolchildren choose this subject more often than others - approximately a third of students take social studies as an elective exam. However, after the reform, the exam became somewhat more difficult, and therefore it is no longer possible to say that social studies is a simple subject.

In third place is physics. Fans of engineering schools are in favor of this subject. Focus on the exact sciences has long been exciting the minds of education officials, but for many schoolchildren physics turns out to be too complex and difficult to study. Taking this into account, it is impossible to say that discipline will be mandatory.

Today it is impossible to say with certainty which compulsory subjects are included in the Unified State Exam 2018-19. So far, only one thing is known for certain - the Russian language and mathematics will have to be taken in any case.

Latest news

Upon taking office, the new Minister of Education gave several lengthy interviews, where a lot of attention was paid to the issues of the Unified State Exam. Vasilyeva confirmed that the course towards reforming the Unified State Exam, taken under the previous leader, is still relevant. However, the minister is a fan of gradual changes, smooth reforms, rather than sudden innovations. In addition, Vasilyeva said that before introducing any global changes to the Unified State Examination, they will definitely be brought to the attention of the public. Thus, we should hope that the structure of the Unified State Exam will not undergo large-scale changes in 2019. However, the planned changes will still take place.

Speaking about changes, first of all, we mean reforming the Unified State Examination in literature. The new exam model has already been announced by FIPI, and you can get acquainted with the demo version of the CMM on the department’s website. So, what new will the Unified State Examination in literature bring in 2019, will schoolchildren write essays, and how difficult will the exam be?

Questions with short answers will be excluded. Some time ago, literature lost its test part; Questions with a choice of one correct answer out of four were replaced by questions with short answers. This part is aimed at checking terminology - examiners must ensure that students are familiar with all the terms used in the discipline. However, the new minister said that from 2019 literature will become a more creative subject, and therefore there will be no need for a special “terminology” part.

Simplifying the task of analyzing a work. The second type of task is a kind of mini-essay, when the text presented in the KIM had to be compared with two others, which the student must remember on his own. From 2018, students will only need to provide one text for analysis.

Increasing the number of topics for essays. Until 2018, schoolchildren were offered only three topics to choose from when writing an essay. After the reform, the number of topics will increase to four or even five.

Increasing the volume of the essay. Today, the minimum length of an essay is 200 words. From 2018, its length must be at least 250 words.

Appearance of essay grades. Today, as you know, there are only two criteria for an examination essay - “passed” or “failed”. In 2019, it is planned to introduce a grading scale for this block of the exam - now the essay will be assessed according to the five-point system familiar to schoolchildren.

The new Unified State Examination model in literature is currently being tested in 44 regions and, if the result is satisfactory, it will become the main one in 2019.

Unified State Exam in a foreign language

The Ministry of Education decided that a foreign language in 2018 will still not be included in the list of compulsory subjects. Moreover, discussions on this matter are very heated, since everyone understands how important a foreign language is for building a career.

As a result, today it has been decided that a foreign language will become a mandatory exam only at the Unified State Exam 2022.

In the meantime, those 11th graders who want to be certified in it choose the foreign one as an additional exam.

At the Unified State Exam 2019, the choice of languages will be as follows:

  • English;
  • German;
  • French;
  • Spanish;
  • Chinese.

The Chinese language was included in the program after trial exams were successfully conducted in Amur schools in 2016.

Unified State Exam 2018-19 in Crimea and Sevastopol

It is already known absolutely that the Unified State Exam 2018-19 in Crimea and Sevastopol will be voluntary. Moreover, this is the last year of such preferences.

Graduates of schools on the peninsula can choose between taking the Unified State Exam and classical graduation and entrance exams to universities.

Meanwhile, statistics show that last year in Sevastopol, 84% of graduates chose the Unified State Exam, and in Crimea as a whole, the figure is much lower - 34%.

Results

There will be changes to the Unified State Exam in 2018-19 - both Vasilyeva herself and officials of various departments in charge of this issue speak about this. However, it is too early to talk about exactly what these changes will be - exact information will appear only in the second half of 2018.

Despite the ambiguous attitude towards mandatory state exams among school graduates and their parents, the cancellation of the Unified State Exam in 2019 should not be expected. Judging by the trend that took place in 2017 and 2018, students will have to prepare even more efficiently for final tests and begin preparation not at the beginning of 11th grade, but much earlier.

If in the 2018-2019 academic year you have to graduate from school and choose a university, we strongly recommend that you become interested in such questions as:

Required subjects

Although today it is too early to talk about any final decisions regarding the final tests that should take place in the 2018-2019 academic year, employees of the Ministry of Education and Science are still ready to slightly lift the veil of secrecy. We managed to find out that in 2019 the Unified State Examination will definitely have new compulsory subjects.

Compulsory subjects are Russian language and Mathematics.

History could be added to the compulsory subjects (basic or specialized mathematics and Russian language) in 2019. The Ministry of Education and Science emphasizes that every citizen should know the history of their country and be able to distinguish historical facts from profanities and fakes, which in recent years have begun to appear more and more often against the backdrop of confrontation between countries in the information field.

As an elective subject, graduates will be able to choose:

  • social science;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • history;
  • computer science;
  • foreign language;
  • geography;
  • biology;
  • literature.

The list of foreign languages available for testing will include: English, German, French, Spanish and Chinese.

As before, tests for future applicants will begin at the beginning of winter with the writing of the December essay, which has already become a traditional start to the graduation campaign.

Thus, today, while studying in the 10th grade, future graduates must decide in which direction they would like to continue their studies and decide how many and what subjects they need to pass for this at the Unified State Exam in 2019.

Innovations and changes in the Unified State Exam 2019

If you believe Vasilyeva’s promises, there will be no fundamental changes in the 2018-2019 season. The innovations introduced in 2017 and 2018 have proven themselves to be excellent, and therefore will remain in the new exam cards.

The following important changes are expected:

  1. Mandatory oral part in the Unified State Exam in Russian (the exam will be divided into two days).
  2. A new task in the written exam in the Russian language, number 21, where you need to show your knowledge of punctuation. Also, the test part will include fewer hints than before. Comments on the topic of the essay will be highly appreciated (+ additional 5 points).
  3. Development of new CMMs in literature, focused on revealing the creative potential of the examinee.
  4. In the Unified State Exam in history, the quotation should not contain unnecessary information that is not related to the context, otherwise the answer will not be counted (this applies to task number 21). As for task No. 2, here you will have to fill out the table yourself, and not choose 2 of the 5 presented answer options.
  5. Adding so-called “integrated problems” to mathematics tickets, for solving which students will need to accumulate knowledge from different areas of algebra and geometry.
  6. As for biology, task number 6 will be in the form of a picture, and not in text format.
  7. The computer science exam will be held only using a PC (without the “paper” part).
  8. The maximum score for social studies has been increased - now it is not 64, but 65.
  9. Chinese language exam with written and oral parts.
  10. Tightening of rules aimed at ensuring the reliability of the results obtained.

Perhaps for schoolchildren who did not approach the study of individual subjects responsibly enough and realized their lack of knowledge only after entering the 11th grade, the information about how many subjects they will have to take for the Unified State Exam in 2019 will be frightening. But, the purpose of such innovations is to provide competitive universities in the country with students who have the necessary amount of knowledge.

For more information about the innovations expected in the Unified State Exam, see the interview with Olga Vasilyeva.

Unified State Exam calendar for 2019

According to the approved schedule of the Unified State Exam, graduates of the 2018-2019 academic year will write the December essay on the following dates:

  • main session - 05.12.18;
  • 1st retake – 02/06/19;
  • 2nd retake – 05/08/19.

The early period will take place from 03/20/19 to 04/10/19 according to the established schedule:

The calendar for the main session of the Unified State Exam in 2019 will be as follows:

In September, graduates will be able to retake only compulsory subjects. The retake schedule will be as follows:

Minimum and passing scores

By completing Unified State Examination tasks, the graduate gains test points, which are converted into final results on a certain scale. It is not yet known whether there will be changes in the 2019 table. But, with a high degree of probability, it can be argued that the system of minimum and passing scores will remain.

  • Minimum score– a necessary condition for obtaining an education document. It is not difficult to achieve the minimum score in subjects. To do this, it is enough to master theory and practice at a basic level.
  • Passing score– a necessary condition for entry into the university chosen by the graduate. You should look for information about passing scores for a specific specialty at the university of interest on the official website of the educational institution.

Retake

Some good news is the fact that in 2019 it will be possible to retake not only compulsory subjects, but also any Unified State Examination exam. But, only one!

For graduates of previous years who received an unsatisfactory result, as well as for those who “failed” more than 1 subject or were found to have violated discipline, there will be no retakes.

If a graduate was unable to appear on the test day for a valid reason (documented), he will receive 2 more attempts.

  • on the reserve day of the session;
  • during the fall session.

Since the Unified State Examination certificate remains valid for 4 years, the autumn retake opens up for the graduate the prospect of entering a university next year, or even in 2019-2020 in faculties that have a shortage of students.

Preparation

By reading our article today, you are in time to think about preparing for the final tests that await you in 11th grade.

Experienced teachers, who have years of effective preparation of graduates to pass the Unified State Exam, recommend reaching the intended goal using the following algorithm:

  1. Determine which faculty you would like to enroll in.
  2. Find out what compulsory subjects (Unified State Examination certificates) the university requires from applicants in 2019.
  3. Find out what changes are expected in 2019 in the main subjects of the Unified State Exam (the official FIPI website will help with this).
  4. Step by step repeat all the topics of the school course in subjects, practicing solving test tickets for 2018 and 2019.
  5. Attend preparation courses for the Unified State Exam or contact a tutor.

Unfortunately, practice shows that simply good knowledge of the subject is not enough to successfully pass the Unified State Exam. Practice in solving problems of a certain type is required. By gaining experience in solving Unified State Exam questions while preparing for exams, students form a strategy for completing tasks and gain confidence in their own abilities, which is an indispensable assistant in achieving success.

Subscribe to our updates or join our groups on social networks and you will not miss important changes and the latest news about what 11th grade students should expect at the Unified State Exam in 2019.

We also suggest watching a video of the All-Russian meeting of the head of Rosobrnadzor with parents, at which issues important for future graduates were raised.

Major changes that should be made to the Unified State Exam system were announced by Dmitry Litvinov, the former head of the Ministry of Education. Olga Vasilyeva, who replaced him in this post, confirmed that reforms are indeed being planned, and they will be quite large-scale, lasting several years. But will work on them begin in 2018?

IMPORTANT: Whatever changes await the Unified State Exam in the future, the Ministry of Education asserts with absolute confidence that the exam will continue to exist. All the rumors about the imminent cancellation of the exam have no basis: the state has invested a huge amount of resources in the Unified State Examination, and, at the moment, the exam is completely justified.

There will be no special changes in the Unified State Exam 2018

Despite the fact that to date only KIM projects and assessment systems have been published (you can view them on the FIPI website), future graduates can already relax a little: there are no serious reforms of the Unified State Examination in the future. The head of Rosobrnadzor, Sergei Kravtsov, spoke about this on August 24, 2017.

“At the moment, demo versions of the Unified State Exam have already been developed for each subject, and no serious reforms will be introduced. Today, both teachers and future graduates have a clear understanding of how to most effectively prepare for the Unified State Exam and in what format the exam will be held. So, if we reform it in some way, then this procedure must be approached with great care.

In 2014, we received more than 1,000 proposals regarding the introduction of certain changes to the Unified State Examination, but in 2017 there were not even hundreds of such requests. This is the best possible indication of the effectiveness of the exam, which means that there is no point in making any large-scale changes yet.”

What did they change?

  • Chemistry. We added a task of increased complexity that requires a detailed solution;
  • Russian language. We have added a task that tests the student’s knowledge of modern vocabulary norms (belongs to the basic part);
  • Literature. We clarified the requirements for completing two tasks, and also added a fourth topic for the essay. Also, the Ministry decided to abandon assignments with short answers, and the length of the essay was increased from 200 to 250 words;
  • Physics. We added a task that tests the student’s knowledge of the elements of astrophysics (basic level);
  • Computer Science. Examples of program code in the task conditions will now be given in C++, as in a more common language. It is also no longer possible to pass an algorithm written in natural language - however, the organizers of the Unified State Exam note that schoolchildren still did not take advantage of this opportunity.

The criteria for evaluating graduates’ work in a number of subjects have also been updated. Information on planned changes to the Unified State Examination criteria in 2018.

The issue of the subjects that schoolchildren will be required to take is very exciting: in one of his interviews, Dmitry Litvinov (former head of the Ministry of Education) stated that already in 2018 graduates will have to take the Unified State Exam in 6 different subjects - these will be 4 mandatory exams and 2 optional ones student. Fortunately for schoolchildren, after Olga Vasilyeva became the head of the Ministry, the strategy for introducing changes to the Unified State Exam has changed somewhat.

There have been rumors for a long time that the new minister is not going to give up the idea of increasing the number of compulsory exams, but plans to slow down the pace of innovation. It was believed that in 2018 there would be three common exams for all graduates: traditional mathematics and the Russian language, and in addition to them social studies, physics, history, etc. - there were quite a lot of versions.

Today it is known that the list of compulsory Unified State Examinations in 2018 is planned to remain unchanged: two familiar subjects. History should be added to them in 2020, and a foreign language in 2022. But you shouldn’t expect any earlier changes; next year the 3rd exam will be left to the graduate’s choice. It could be:

  • Chemistry;
  • Story;
  • Geography;
  • Social science;
  • Physics;
  • Computer science;
  • Biology;
  • Foreign language.

By the way, this is not mandatory; students can choose Chinese, French, Spanish or German.

In the coming year, schoolchildren in Crimea will still have a choice: to take classical exams (entrance to universities and graduation from school) or the Unified Exam. Moreover, they say that this is the last year of such “benefits”: in 2019, only the Unified State Exam will remain.

However, Crimean schoolchildren are ready for such changes: according to statistics for 2017, in Sevastopol, 84% of graduates chose the Unified State Exam. In general, the figure for the peninsula is lower, but it will also increase.

How to take the Unified State Exam in 2018

We have answered the most pressing questions that parents ask about the Unified State Exam...

Everyone who took the Unified State Exam this year can relax: work has been checked, scores have been assigned, appeals have been filed and considered. Now it is the turn to worry for those who have just entered the 11th grade, as well as their teachers and parents.

For the Ministry of Education, schools, and experts, the Unified State Examination is an established annual practice, but for those who take the exams, it is always the first time, and therefore causes great excitement.

Especially for those who will have to take the Unified State Exam next year, as well as for sympathetic and concerned parents, we are giving a brief excursion into the general rules for conducting exams, talking about the innovations of 2018, how to motivate a high school student to prepare for exams and how not to “overdo it” in preparation for the main exams of the country.

Unified State Exam 2018: what's new?

Since the introduction of the Unified State Exam and the State Examination (now the Unified State Examination), at least something has changed in the exams every year - in terms of the grading scale, the forms of tasks, and the procedure. This article will focus specifically on the Unified State Exam, a unified state exam that graduates take in the 11th grade. Over the past three years, the ministry has announced many plans for changes to the Unified State Exam. Those who will have to take exams in 2018 are primarily interested in the following questions:

    Will the oral part be introduced into the Unified State Examination in the Russian language?

    Will graduates take the mandatory Unified State Exam in Russian history?

    Is it true that the Unified State Exam in English will become mandatory for everyone this year?

    How many exams will schoolchildren take - three, four or six, as former Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation D.V. once promised? Livanov?

All these questions were answered by the press center of the Ministry of Education and Science on April 24, 2017: “No changes are expected in the Unified State Examination in the coming years, all proposals for modernizing the exam must undergo preliminary broad expert and public discussion” (source - MIA Rossiya Segodnya) . At the moment there is no talk of any discussions.

Indeed, in recent months the press has actively discussed the idea of making the Russian history exam universal and compulsory as soon as possible. The implementation of this idea will take place gradually. According to the Minister of Education and Science Olga Vasilyeva, The Unified State Examination in history will most likely become mandatory only by 2020.

As for the oral part of the Russian language exam, this innovation must first be tested in the ninth grade. On July 6, at a meeting of the Commission on Education and Science of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Olga Vasilyeva said that from 2018, ninth grade students will undergo an oral interview in the Russian language for admission to the State Duma (source - MIA "Russia Today").

Preparation for the Unified State Exam in mathematics (profile level): assignments, solutions and explanations

How is the Unified State Exam conducted?
