  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs.;
  • canned corn - 1 can;
  • rice cereal - 50 g;
  • large cucumber;
  • onion head;
  • mayonnaise 100 - 150 gr.;
  • salt, pepper, herbs.

Properly selected and cooked rice plays a big role in preparing crab salad. This can be called a special art. Only long grain rice is used. since it has the lowest starch content, which is also good for your health. In addition, steamed rice cereal is suitable.

Crab salad - classic recipe with corn: preparation for cooking

Preparation of rice: rinse the cereal, put it in a saucepan, cover with water 1:2 (rice to water). put on fire. When the water boils, reduce the heat, close the lid tightly and simmer for 15 - 25 minutes (depending on the type of rice). When the water is absorbed, remove from heat and cool. This method of cooking is gentle and retains a maximum of vitamins and microelements in the finished rice.

However, if guests are around the corner, you can speed up the process. Rinse the cereal thoroughly, place in a pan of boiled water (1 liter), cook for about 20 minutes. Don't overcook it! Place the cooked rice in a colander and cool, rinsing it under warm water; do not put it in the refrigerator.
