The results of the Unified State Exam in social studies have appeared online. It became known when graduates will find out the result of the exam in social studies. Are the results of the exam in social studies ready?

The most difficult time for graduates is in the past - the main stage of the Unified State Exam has been written, which means that all 11th graders can quite legitimately forget about their school desks and go on a well-deserved rest, preparing for graduation (if it hasn’t happened yet), or preparing for admission to the chosen educational institution. But among the students there are still those for whom the holidays are still only a dream. Those whose results on the Unified State Exam were unsatisfactory or are still unknown.

If a student does not score the required number of points on the Unified State Exam, he has to take a retake. Especially for this, the Ministry of Education allocated a reserve period, which began immediately after the main one was written, on June 22. Well, those whose works are still at the verification stage can only gather their courage and wait for their scores to become known.

The wait for scores is always very difficult, because it is the results of the Unified State Exam that will show which university a graduate can apply for, as well as whether he will be able to receive a certificate. But the threshold of points for obtaining a certificate of completion of secondary education is usually set to a minimum so that everyone, without exception, can overcome it. For example, this year it was necessary to score 23 points in mathematics and 24 in Russian. The results are already known and everyone can check them on the official website.

As for directly entering a university, the minimum scores are set by the higher institution itself and, of course, they are much different from those required to obtain a certificate. In addition, the scores increase every year, which makes passing the Unified State Exam quite difficult. That is why all graduates and their families are looking forward to the results, because everyone wants to have a place in some prestigious university. And now another exam began to be published online, this time social studies.

Unified State Examination results in social studies

Social studies is an incredibly important subject, because it is taken by those who in the future intend to interact with children in some way. And raising the younger generation is one of the most important missions of humanity. After all, it is today’s children who will occupy management positions in a couple of decades, and it is very important that their worldview is formed correctly.

The Unified State Examination in social studies was written on June 14, and on June 24, 10 days later, the results began to be published on the official website. The verification of work took so long because the Unified State Examination is checked in two stages - at the regional and federal level. To make sure that students have really mastered the school curriculum well and are ready to enter a university.

Also, those works that score high points undergo additional verification. This time, all notes from observers and recordings from surveillance cameras are taken into account. If any violations were recorded, such as the presence of a mobile phone, the results are immediately canceled without the right to retake on a reserve day.

It is worth noting that social studies has become the most popular exam this year among the core subjects. Many students considered it the simplest, because even without special knowledge, the tasks could be solved simply by relying on logical thinking. According to preliminary estimates, about 370 thousand graduates took the exam.

The remaining results will be known approximately in the following numbers:

The main stage of the Unified State Exam 2018 has come to an end. Students can only wait for the latest exam results. So on June 14, many future students took the social studies exam. According to Rosobrnadzor, students will be able to find out their scores on June 29.

Many rushed to take social studies in the hope of entering a university for a prestigious specialty. Such professions that require knowledge about society as a whole include economics, sociology, law, and even in some cases pedagogy.

When will the 2018 Unified State Exam results in social studies and the average scores of previous years be announced?

The Service for Supervision of Science and Education has published the dates for the announcement of results for each state exam. Social studies scores can be checked on June 29th. This can be done on the official website of the Unified State Exam 2018. You will need to enter the data from the student’s passport and thus go to your personal account. This is how all the results of a particular participant in that year's exam are published.

The school curriculum, and with it the exam, becomes more difficult every year. Despite this, since 2016 the number of students who failed to cross the threshold score has decreased significantly. So in 2016, this figure was 17% of the total number of examinees. Already in 2017, this number decreased by 3%. All this speaks of a positive trend in Russian students successfully passing the social studies exam.

Knowledge assessment system for the social studies exam in 2018

Social studies is included in the compulsory school curriculum and is studied throughout middle and high school. Its scope includes concepts of sociology, philosophy, economics and law, and psychology also plays an integral part. Students study the connection of a person with society and within it, distinguishes between the various social roles of a person in society (be it a student, an employee, a father, a child, a buyer in a store, etc.). In the course of this discipline, children learn to communicate with the social world around them, learn to use their rights and responsibilities, understand the economic and political sphere of social life, and so on.

Students' knowledge is assessed in a certain number of points for each task on the ticket. There are 29 tasks in total in the ticket. All questions are divided into 3 parts. The first part contains 19 questions, for answering them you can score 35 points. The second part includes 8 tasks, they are worth 23 points. The last task, this essay, is worth 6 points. The total is then converted to a 100-point system. In this way, it can be determined that if a student scores less than 41 points, he or she does not pass the assessment threshold. Scores from 42 to 54 indicate a score of “3”. Those who score from 55 to 66 points for tasks apply for “4”. Those who were able to answer all questions with a score of 67 or more received an excellent grade of “5.”

What tasks are included in the Unified State Examination ticket in social studies?

There have been some changes to the 2018 Unified State Examination in Social Studies tickets. From the first part of the ticket, all questions that implied only one correct answer from those presented were removed. The task itself does not indicate how many correct answers the question has. The student must find out for himself. In addition, all the questions were combined into blocks, each of them answering a specific topic. This is done to make it easier to navigate the structure of the exam paper.

The second part of the ticket consists of open questions. Their complexity also differs. There are questions that require a short answer of one word or concept. More complex questions require deciphering a term, a detailed description, or solving a specific situation. Matching tasks are also included in the ticket. Perhaps the most difficult task on the social studies test is the essay. It is a discussion on a given topic. This question ranks highest on the ticket. In total, the student is given 235 minutes of time to complete these tasks.

The social studies exam became the most popular among those that could be chosen, that is, not counting the Russian language and mathematics. On the fourteenth of June, more than three hundred seventy thousand Russian schoolchildren decided to try their hand and show their knowledge in social studies: the fact is that young people considered this exam one of the “simplest”, since even with minimal preparation, already during the test itself you can get your bearings and, based on logic, answer questions.

Meanwhile, everything is not so simple, since the key to a well-passed social studies exam is knowledge of various terms and the ability to apply them in the context of a particular topic. Therefore, preparation was still important. However, very soon students will understand this without unnecessary moralizing: the exam scores will be known no later than June twenty-ninth. The students had four hours to successfully complete the assignments and write a paper.

Note that forty-two points is the minimum threshold that determines that the graduate has passed the exam. Meanwhile, for admission to a prestigious university, the requirements for the number of points scored on the Unified State Exam are appropriate: the better and more in demand the educational institution and specialty, the more requirements are placed on future students.

Prospective students on social networks are talking about some “inconsistency”: for example, the results of the social studies exam should be by the twenty-ninth, but the retake date, that is, the “reserve day,” is set for the twenty-eighth. Many hope that the commissions will take this into account, and therefore will rush to tell the children how many points they were able to score on the test.

Rosobnadzor told the general public about the results of the mandatory exam in the Russian language. The report says that the statistics are not much different from the results of last year, that is, nothing “out of the ordinary” happened. The statistics are compiled very carefully, since, according to representatives of the department, this helps them prepare tasks for the next exam periods.

This year, twenty-nine thousand more people took the Russian language than last year - more than six hundred forty-five thousand. The minimum number of points that contributes to obtaining a certificate - twenty-four, was received by only 0.4% of all graduates, writes the Ros-Registr website. Three thousand seven hundred and twenty-two people received the maximum score of one hundred. In percentage terms, this is equivalent to last year's results.

So, many graduates are wondering: what will happen if you try to break the established rules and still use a cheat sheet? Please note that it makes absolutely no difference whether you have the hint on a piece of paper or on your phone—such students will be removed from the exam. In this case, a special act is drawn up, and if it is confirmed by the chairman, then the test result is canceled.

If individuals who are not officials try to distort the exam result or hide the fact of a violation, then they may incur administrative liability for this and pay a fine of three to five thousand rubles.

According to experts, all violators must be brought to justice so as not to entrench a feeling of impunity and no one else dares to break the rules. This applies to both students and teachers, and everyone involved in passing the Unified State Exam.
