My positive thinking is dictated by common sense. Thinking positively means leading a simpler and more enjoyable life. But this didn’t help me either quit smoking or get rid of at least ten extra pounds!

Until 1983, Allan Carr was a successful businessman and entrepreneur, living a lifestyle that most people would only envy. Being a professional in accounting, he was a very successful man.

However, it must be said that there was also a fly in the ointment in this ointment - he could not quit smoking. After each of his countless failed attempts to quit, he began to smoke more than before, eventually smoking more than a hundred cigarettes a day. It was during that period that an idea came to Allan that revealed the essence of the “Simple Path”, and at that moment Allan’s life changed dramatically.

But as soon as I faced a more pressing problem, my resolve weakened, my old habits returned, and the extra pounds returned.
