Incredible kitchen made from boxes - even adults will love it. Toy kitchen made of cardboard How to make a kitchen out of paper

  • ruler
  • pencil
  • glue (glue stick and super glue)
  • scissors
  • beads
  • drinking straw
  • cream jar
  • shoe box with lid
  • 2-3 small boxes
  • White paper
  • colored paper or cardboard
  • scotch
  • large sheet of thick cardboard
  • doll for which we will make a kitchen

Remove the lid from the shoe box (we will need it). Place the box “on its side”, so it should be up to the doll’s waist, preferably even a little lower.

If the box is tall, you can cut off the opposite part - the side. You need to cut as evenly as possible, the stability of the future kitchen depends on this. We'll call it part #1.
Let's do back wall. To do this, from a large sheet of thick cardboard you need to cut a rectangle with a width equal to 1.5 times the length of part No. 1.

The height of the back wall can be any, at your discretion. In our case, the height is equal to the height of the doll with its arm extended upward.

Note: not enough thick cardboard can be strengthened by gluing several sheets together.
Making a table leg. The table leg should be the same height as part No. 1. You can use a suitable (preferably narrow) box. If there is no suitable box, then you can make it yourself. We measure the height of part No. 1. In our case, the height is 15 cm.

This will be the height of the table leg. It is enough to make the width 5 cm. The length of the leg can be at your discretion. In our case, the length is 13 cm. We draw a diagram on a sheet of thick (but not thick) cardboard.

Note: Don't forget to draw the flaps for gluing.
We will call the resulting box-leg part No. 2.
In part No. 1 we make a hole for washing. To do this, we outline the neck of the cream jar on the surface of part No. 1 in the place where we want to make a sink, and cut it out.

Glue together part No. 1 and part No. 2.

Insert the jar into the hole for the sink.

We glue the back wall to parts No. 1 and No. 2 glued together.

Note: It is better to use strong glue or Double-sided tape for better adhesion.
Take the lid from the box. We cut off its side flaps and get a rectangle, the width of which should not extend beyond the back wall of the kitchen, and the length should be 3-5 cm longer than the length of the leg. In our case, we got a piece measuring 13 cm x 18 cm. This piece will be the tabletop. Glue it to part No. 2.

Thus, we received a blank for our future kitchen. Now we decorate it at our discretion. You can use any material for decoration: colored paper, colored cardboard, leftover wallpaper, wrapping paper, etc.
Note: if you plan to cover the workpiece with thin paper, I advise you to initially cover it with white paper. Once the work is completed, the side parts can be covered with tape.
This is what we got.

We used colored cardboard, colored paper, beads for handles and taps, oven and we drew the burners on the stove with a white pencil on black cardboard.
How to make a faucet. For the tap you will need: a drinking straw with a curved tip, two beads, a sewing pin with a ball at the end and liquid glue. We cut off two edges from the tube, leaving a part that looks like a faucet.

Pour a little glue into the lower part of the “faucet”, insert a sewing pin with the head (ball) into the faucet.

My daughter Masha began to take an interest in kitchen chores by the age of two! And we decided to give her a children's kitchen for her birthday. We studied the stores' offers, compared the prices, and assessed the quality. I didn't like anything. Even the most expensive options left much to be desired.

We decided that we would make the kitchen ourselves! While my husband was actively working, I drew a sketch and determined the dimensions of the future structure. Dad was greeted ready to visit the hardware store. We bought the essentials, planning to use what would no longer be useful at home. It's even more interesting!

The base for our kitchen was the nightstand. No one has used it for a long time.

We carried out an inspection of the house and found an old disassembled desk, several slabs of chipboard.

Replaced top part bedside tables with a table top previously covered with a film that imitates marble. The base was installed from below, the side parts and the top shelf were attached.

The sink was installed. It was a stainless bowl.

While our dad was working, I decided to make a stove myself. I used two flat flashlights with LEDs. I took them apart, took out the rings with semiconductor devices and, using small self-tapping screws, screwed them to thick cardboard.

On top I glued another layer of cardboard with holes for rings and buttons.

Then I used a sheet of black cardboard the same size as the main one and cut out circles corresponding to the diameter of the LED rings. WITH inside I glued thick film from a doll box onto the slots and painted the edges with bright nail polish.

I made slits in place of the buttons. WITH outside glued disks onto film circles, leaving free space. The holes for the buttons were sealed with aluminum tape, extruding the shape of the buttons. Added a little decor.

I glued the front part to the base. She covered the top with thick film and placed the structure in a poster frame.

I drilled holes in the countertop under the future stove to hide the wires.

The hob was secured using liquid welding and covered with aluminum tape around it so that the child would not pick it off. The result is a glass-ceramic panel with touch buttons.

Everything is working!!!

Plywood was attached under the tabletop. They drilled a hole in it and inserted a light bulb for oven. The battery pack was also located there.

The inner walls of the oven were covered with self-adhesive film, and guides were attached for the baking sheet, the role of which was played by a plastic tray.

The panel has

  • button to start the oven, turn on the light;
  • a temperature controller made from the front wheels of an old car, decorated with aluminum tape;
  • a timer made of rear wheels equipped with a spring mechanism, which, after winding, returns to its original position, simulating the end of the cooking process.

The door was made of chipboard. We cut a hole in the slab and covered it with the remaining film from doll box, attached a handle, as well as a magnet holding the door, which was hung on its hinges.

My husband made the washing machine. For the drum, he used a plastic colander - the base of the lid for microwave oven. The motor was removed from an old broken radio-controlled car.

This is how everything is attached inside. What glitters is the detergent container. It is made from an ice cream container and covered with aluminum tape.

The machine panel has a power button (the light comes on), an opening powder compartment, and a dial for selecting the washing mode from the teether.

Store-bought toys are ordinary and uninteresting. Of course, a new bright object will distract your child’s attention for a few days, but then this thing will become “old” and will be put aside in the farthest corner.

The same cannot be said about a homemade toy, which will be a little less attractive, but at the same time act like a magnet on a child. We want to tell you about one such item - children's Kitchen Area.

Where to start

What can be used as the basis for a future kitchen? Of course, if it is possible to use any wooden materials, that would be great.

However, not many people know how to handle wood. Therefore, it is easiest to use cardboard; it is quite durable and easy to use.

Still, let's list what is needed for the job:

  • Cardboard boxes - suitable from under old household appliances. You can buy such products; the price in special stores is quite reasonable.
  • Scotch tape or any adhesive tape. It is best to use transparent tape.
  • Self-adhesive film - you will need several rolls to cover all the parts of the children's kitchen.
  • Felt pens or markers.
  • Plastic bottles - you can replace them with small lids from small jars.
  • Old and unnecessary CDs.
  • Aluminium foil.
  • Gray or silver plastic cup.
  • Scissors and sharp knife(clerical).

As you can see, all materials can be processed with your own hands, so no difficulties should arise during the work process.

Note! It's best if you do this with your child, as this process allows you to impress upon him the seriousness of the event. Once you have a kitchen corner, you will definitely be the first to receive “meals” prepared with love.

Construction of the headset

No matter how loud it may sound, this is exactly so - this process cannot be called otherwise, because you are going to make a kitchen for your baby. To achieve success and positive result, you need to do everything step by step.

The first stage is the construction of the frame

First of all, let's consider the option of building a children's kitchen from cardboard boxes:

  • Place a box, for example, from under a refrigerator, on the floor so that front part the future headset was in front of you.

  • Take a knife in your hands and cut a square in the right (or left, whichever is more convenient for you) part - you will get an oven.

For your information! Do not make the hole too large, it is advisable that it is no more than 1/3 of the front surface of the box.

  • Now the cabinet door for the sink is cut out on the left side. You can cut off the cardboard completely, or make a cut on only three sides so that the door is one with the set.
  • From above, in the washing cabinet, a round hole is cut out, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than our cup. This is what will serve as the sink.
  • On the side where we have the oven, above the gaping hole, it is necessary to make several cross-shaped cuts. Three or four are enough; this is where the adjustments for the burners and temperature in the oven will be located. Look at the photo to see how you can do this.
  • Now we need a self-adhesive color film, which acts as finishing material. It is quite easy to glue; in those places where there are holes in our kitchen, it is necessary to repeat them on the film. The cuts must be made exactly along the line of the hole.
  • Now let's use markers and paint the kitchen. In those places where the switches will be located on the burner, it is necessary to draw numbers from 0 to 3 so that the child can navigate.

Stage two – finishing the kitchen

  • We use CDs - we attach them above the oven, thereby simulating cooking surfaces. It will be enough to fix two pieces.
  • We cut out the oven door from the remains of cardboard, slightly larger than the hole itself. To prevent it from falling and opening on its own, we glue a textile fastener (Velcro).
  • Trimming plastic bottles, leave a small part of the neck with the lid and push them into the prepared holes for the switches.

Is this enough for you? If yes, you can start cooking with your child, but if you want something more, then the following instructions will help you upgrade your cardboard kitchen.

Adding reality

How to make a children's kitchen made from boxes look even more like the real thing?

It’s easy, you don’t even need any skills, just additional investments.

  • Visit a lighting store and buy a few meters there LED strips . Make sure they are already soldered and connected to the power supply.
  • Place one tape in the oven, sticking it around the perimeter. Attach the switch to the front panel.
  • Place another strip on the cooking surface. But since the light is too bright, it is advisable to cover the tape with a tinted film. It can be secured using self-adhesive tape.

Role-playing game is the main type of play for a preschool child.
The main source that feeds a child’s role-playing game is the world around him, the life and activities of adults.
The main feature of a role-playing game is the presence of an imaginary situation in it, which consists of a plot and roles.
In games, children try on different social roles, form a scale of values for themselves, and learn to build relationships with others.
In order to enrich the subject-development environment in the group and on the kindergarten site, a stove was made. It is convenient because it can be carried, i.e. the stove is mobile. It is compact and does not take up much space. For its manufacture, improvised materials were required. The manufacturing process is not complicated. The plate can be made according to your design project.

To work you need:
Scissors
A simple pencil or pen, ruler
Stationery knife
Colored self-adhesive paper
Shoe box big size
Mayonnaise lids (4 pieces)
Gouache jars (4 pieces)
Glue moment
Glue gun

Step-by-step process for completing the work:

1. To work, we will need circle templates of different sizes.

2. Take the 4th mayonnaise lids.

3. Using template No. 1, cut out 4 circles from red self-adhesive paper.

4. Glue them onto mayonnaise lids.

5. Take a shoebox and place it on the back edge so that the front surface is in front of us. We take a gouache jar, place it at a distance of about 7 cm from the edge and trace the bottom. Bottom part The jars are smaller in diameter than the top part and round in shape.

Circle the bottom of the jar 4 times. We get 4 circles, they are at an equal distance from each other. The distance can be adjusted according to your wishes. On the right, the distance was also maintained, according to symmetry, 7 cm.

6. We took a utility knife and cut out the first hole on the left. You need to cut it carefully, adhering to the inner rim of the circle.

We cut out the remaining holes. There were 4 of them.

7. We took 4 gouache jars, washed them and dried them.

8. Close the jars with lids. Using template No. 2, 4 circles were cut out of self-adhesive paper. One circle turned out to be red, and the other 3 circles were brown.

9. Glued the circles to the top surfaces of the lids.

10. Turn the box upside down. There are inscriptions on it, we will hide them using self-adhesive film.

I chose gray self-adhesive paper.
We took self-adhesive paper and drew a rectangle with sides 23x34 cm on the reverse side. We will need 2 of these rectangles.

11. Glued one of the rectangles to the bottom edge, hiding all the letters and drawings.

Thus, the top edge was also decorated.

12. It’s time to decorate and hide the shortcomings of the side surfaces of the box. To do this, cut it out of self-adhesive paper gray 2 rectangles with sides 3x22 cm.

13. Glued one of the rectangles to the rim of the lid on one side to hide the letters. You could leave it and not stick anything else on this side.

We glued the second rectangle to the opposite side of the box and also to the rim of the lid. It turned out that this side is not as good as the first side face. Therefore, it is necessary to cover it with self-adhesive paper to hide all the errors.

14. For symmetry, prepare 2 rectangles of gray self-adhesive paper with sides 8.5x23.5 cm on both side faces.

15. Decorate the problem area on one side.

And glue the second rectangle on the other side.

16. Open the lid, take the glue moment. We need to glue the lid to the base of the box so that the top surface does not open.

Apply glue to the rims of the lid.

17. Close the lid and press the rims to the base of the box so that they stick.

18. Insert the jar with the red lid into the left hole. We specially cut holes along the inner rim of the circles so that the jars - the handles of the stove - were attached more firmly, and not loosely and did not turn.

Insert the remaining 3 jars.

19. My jars are firmly attached. But to be sure that the children would not pull them out during the game, I decided to glue the jars. I pulled out the jars, turned each one over and coated the protruding part (the rim of the lid) with glue.

I inserted each jar back into the holes and pressed it down. The rim of the lid of each jar came into contact with the cardboard base and stuck.
The handles on the stove are ready.

The company icon remains on this face at the bottom right. I decided not to remove it. Our toy stove There will also be a brand name.

20. Place burners - mayonnaise lids - on the top surface and see what the hob will look like. Now you can glue them one by one.

I tried to glue it with instant glue, but the adhesion was weak.
21. We took a glue gun.

22. Apply hot glue to the back of the mayonnaise lid.

23. Glued it to hob slabs, positioned at the top left, approximately 6 cm from the edge.

Thus, we glued the second cover, placing it symmetrically (relative to the right edge) at the top right.

We glued the remaining covers at the bottom, trying to place them symmetrically under top covers at an equal distance from them.

24. The plate for the game is ready.

The finished result
You can take the dishes and try to cook something on the new stove.

Rear view of the slab

Summer time is coming, children will spend a lot of time on fresh air. We will use the slab as a portable material when organizing role-playing games. The game will require another wash. They also made it on their own. For this we took a table. They placed him on the veranda close to the wall. We cut out a hole for the pelvis. The mixer was installed. One of the parents helped carry out this type of work.
