Lost instructions?

Instructions and manuals for household appliances and electronics, computers, smartphones, cars, music and other equipment ... Hundreds of thousands of instructions for all types technical devices for your attention!

You can find and download for free and without registration necessary instruction manual in Russian or read online, create your own list of instructions on this site for remote access (subject to registration).

For the convenience of users, the archive is divided into categories according to the types of technical devices.

An easy way to find the required manual is simply to enter the model name in the search field. If there is no result, try to break the abbreviation into parts, that is, put spaces between letters and numbers and press the search button again. Often the same model is marked differently by the manufacturer itself, for example, spaces and dashes may be present in the printed user manual, but not on the device itself.

Do not forget the main rule, which is usually written at the very beginning of the document: "read the instructions before using the device ...", and this is true - this condition will help, not only to keep the equipment in good condition on long years operation, but also to thoroughly understand all the features and functions for its full use.

How to use a microwave oven so as not to harm the device and your health? Not all users know the rules of operation and safety of the microwave oven. The majority of those who bought "smart" household appliances prefer to learn it on an intuitive level. But in vain: by reading the instructions, you can prevent many breakdowns.

What are microwaves

Many owners of microwave ovens are not aware of their principle of operation and do not know how food is heated and defrosted in them. However, from the name itself it is clear that the main " actor» - microwaves.

This is electromagnetic radiation of ultra-high frequency - 2.4 GHz. From physics, many people remember: when a substance is heated, its molecules accelerate - first those that are closer to heat, and then they share energy with other, distant molecules.

If you put a frozen product in a pan, it will be warm on the outside and icy on the inside. In microwave ovens, the opposite is true. There are waves that penetrate inside. When you take a heated cake out of your Samsung or LG “smart” oven, you will see that it is hot inside and warm on the surface.

Microwave - a short electromagnetic radio wave, the frequency of which practically coincides with the frequency of radiation mobile phones. That is why mobile communications do not work well near microwave ovens.

Bought a microwave oven - what to do

If you are just getting acquainted with the microwave device, you need an instruction manual that comes with the package. How else can you find out about the purpose of the buttons and the functions of the purchased equipment? Except that empirically- but this will take a lot of time, and you can inadvertently damage something.

The first thing that worries people who have bought a microwave oven is how to turn it on? When using for the first time, proceed as follows:

  • Place the appliance on a table, shelf, or other level place.
  • Turn on the machine by inserting the plug into the power outlet.
  • Now start the device. In different models, the inclusion can be carried out in different ways:
    - "Start" or "Cook" button;
    - by turning the timer - after setting the time, the stove turns on.

If the oven is working properly, after turning it on, it will work.

Why you need a timer

The timer in some models plays the role of a switch, but its main purpose is to regulate the cooking time. With it, you can set how long the dish will be cooked.

Timers are different. The time can be set by turning the dial until the value entered by the user lights up. It can also be set by dialing numbers using the keyboard. To choose optimal time See the information on the packaging or in the recipe.

Main user mistakes

The most main mistake - ignoring instructions. Without understanding the essence of the operation of the device, it is easy to provoke its breakdown.

It is important to understand that microwaves only act on H2O molecules. Therefore, only food containing water can be cooked in a microwave oven. When heating foods with a low content of it, a container with liquid should be placed nearby.

If the stand does not rotate, the dish will not heat up evenly - it will burn on one side and be raw on the other. This does not only apply to inverter models, they do not have a rotating tray.

It is important to remember: you cannot interrupt the set cooking process, add spices before the start or after completion.

How to extend the life of your microwave

Using a microwave oven according to the rules, you can significantly extend its life. A good stove can serve without malfunctions for a whole five years and even more. If the oven is working:

  • she works quietly;
  • no sparks in the chamber;
  • no odors;
  • door closes tightly.

Important! Remember, furnace breakdowns are also dangerous for its owner. If there are malfunctions, immediately take the microwave to a service center.

The duration of operation depends on compliance with the rules of use: use special dishes and cook, taking into account the recommendations of the developers.

So that the first use does not bring disappointment, it is important to follow the manufacturers' recommendations. It is forbidden:

  • turn on the device with an empty chamber;
  • turn on the device if the weight of the food is less than 50 g;
  • use metal utensils;
  • exceed a reasonable cooking time - there is a risk of fire;
  • rub hard protective screen- a mica plate (it is located in the chamber, usually on the side wall);
  • include in the presence of obvious defects: cracked glass, loose door, etc.;
  • warm or boil eggs;
  • load tightly sealed containers and cans with food into the chamber.

  • Place a cup of water inside before starting the grill.
  • Close the door tightly.
  • If you are going to reheat food in a skin or vacuum-packed, pierce them with a sharp object in several places before turning on the stove.
  • To keep the chamber clean, and you do not have to wash it every time after cooking, close the dish with a special lid. Due to splashes of grease and food residues, the mica protective screen may become unusable ahead of time.
  • Do not leave the device unattended.
  • Do not handle the dishes immediately after turning off the appliance - you will get a steam burn.
  • Wash the oven from food residues with soft sponges.

The average life of a microwave oven is five years. By following the recommendations of the manufacturers, you can double it.

How to choose dishes

The specifics of microwaves - a ban on the use metal utensils. Also, containers that melt easily or become very hot should not be placed in the chamber. It is better to use special dishes that say:

  • microware oven;
  • microware oven safe
  • suitable for microware;
  • bowls for microwaves.

All of the above inscriptions indicate: this dish can be placed in a microwave oven.

It is better to check non-special dishes before putting them in the oven. Place a glass of water inside, next to the dishes you want to test. Turn on the device - you need to increase the power to the maximum. If after a minute the object does not heat up, you can use it for cooking.

Attention! It is better to buy round dishes: a lot of heat accumulates in the corners, and the plate may burn a little.

Where to put the microwave

The location of the microwave oven determines its capabilities. For example, if you hoist the oven on the refrigerator, it can be used exclusively for heating.

When installing a new device, consider the following nuances:

  • Ventilation must not be blocked.
  • It is forbidden to place near equipment that emits radio waves - malfunctions may occur.
  • Any instruction also says that it should not be placed near a heat source.
  • You can put the stove on other household appliances, but you must first make sure that the vibrations from the microwave do not harm it.
  • The surface for installing the device should be as even and firm as possible.

When moving a microwave oven, keep in mind: the front is heavier than the back. You need to properly pick it up so as not to drop it and break it.

What influences power

Proper use is impossible without knowledge related to the power of the device. The speed of operations and the capabilities of the device depend on its value.

  • 1.4 kW - enough to soften butter or ice cream, raise yeast dough.
  • 1.4-2.8 kW - you can defrost and melt food.
  • 2.8-4.2 kW - enough for baking.
  • For a good warm-up, a power of at least 4.4-5.6 kW is required.

On maximum power you can boil water or cook food in a minimum of time.

Before setting a program of action, familiarize yourself with the features of the preparation of the product. It may need to be thawed first and only then cooked.

Care rules

Microwave ovens save time for their owners, but require regular attention. Chamber cleanliness - important condition correct functioning of the equipment. Timely care will prevent the appearance of odors and grease on the walls of the chamber and on the mica screen.

Stick to these rules:

  • Be sure to unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • To clean the camera thoroughly, remove the removable parts.
  • Wash internal parts with warm soapy water. Wait for drying.
  • It is better not to use water, so as not to get inside the device, you need to use a damp sponge.
  • It is forbidden to clean the stove with metal brushes - the coating may be damaged.
  • It is forbidden to use alkaline and chlorine-containing products.

If you find dirt that cannot be washed or removed with a rag, turn on the vacuum cleaner. Use a thin nozzle. Ventilation openings can also be cleaned in this way.

If you bought a Samsung

According to statistics, 20% of families use Korean brand microwave ovens. For all microwave ovens, the rules for care and operation are almost the same.

Samsung stoves may differ from each other in the control panel. In digital models, control is carried out using buttons, in analog models - through manual control. The second option is simpler and cheaper, and, in addition, eliminates system errors. In touch models included a lot additional features e.g. self-cleaning.

When installing Samsung stoves, remember: you need to maintain at least 20 cm distance to any other objects.

Be careful with blocking!

Those who are too lazy to read the instructions often face the problem of blocking. Majority modern models equipped useful feature- protection from children. However, it happens that it becomes an obstacle for owners who cannot unlock the microwave.

The unlocking procedure is described in each manual. So, for example, to remove the block in the Samsung CE1110R, you need to simultaneously press the "Microwave", "Grill" and "Convection" buttons.

). We were satisfied with the testing, and a new collision with the LG microwave provided by the manufacturer was eagerly anticipated.

This time we got our hands on a new model: LG MS2354JAS. This is a medium volume oven (23L), solo, and is on the market so recently that LG's Russian site didn't even have a product page at the time of writing. This intrigued our test lab even more, since it was possible to find out what was so new in each seemingly familiar product that the most famous manufacturer invented.

The company draws attention to the door from tempered glass with comfortable handle, easy to clean internal coating Easy clean, automatic programs"kitchens of the world", the recently appeared i-wave technology (propagation of microwaves in a spiral, as well as the design of the inner wall of the chamber, which provide a particularly uniform distribution of microwaves during heating and defrosting). Another novelty boasts a special energy saving system.

We will pay special attention to all these qualities when testing the LG MS2354JAS.

According to the numerous wishes of readers, we continue the experiment with non-studio spontaneous food photography. The article contains a number of photographs of prepared products, this material should be taken as illustrative and regarding the quality of the photo and composition - do not be upset.

Equipment

The cardboard box with the device looks reliable and modest. The basis is the classic "cardboard" color, black and maroon text and images - a classic hint that this manufacturer is working on the contents of the box, and not on its appearance.

When you open the box, inside you will find:

  • the oven itself;
  • instruction;
  • warranty card.

The glass tray and the spinning ring underneath are also present, but we don't list them in the accessories list as they are an integral part of the design.

Appearance of the oven

The appearance of LG MS2354JAS we would call stylish: it is standard for microwaves cuboid, but dark glass and an unusual handle make you look at the object for a long time. But the asymmetric arrangement of the buttons confused us a little.

The control is carried out using a panel of mechanical buttons, in the upper part of which there is a display, in idle mode, designed to show the current time, when the mode is selected, it displays already entered parameters, and when the device is operating, it shows the time remaining until the end of the current process. Buttons at the top of the control panel special regimes: international cuisine, auto-defrost and quick defrost; in the middle - buttons for microwave mode and clock settings; and the bottom two rows are the time setting/sub-mode selection buttons, as well as "stop" and "start".

Locking contacts are built into the door mechanism, which will not allow the oven to be turned on with open door and will pause any cooking mode when it is opened during cooking. This solution is already familiar, not innovative, but the Eco On energy saving system impressed us: when it is activated, an unattended oven turns off the display and backlight after 5 minutes of inactivity.

In principle, you can deal with the LG MS2354JAS control without reading the instructions, but to work with automatic modes we would still recommend reading it.

Inner lining material

The walls inside the furnace are covered with enamel. IN lower part a rotating ring and a glass tray are installed. Inner surface doors - heat resistant glass, sealant, steel mesh.

Control

Mastering the control of the LG MS2354JAS turned out to be quite easy. The control panel is simple and clear, the sensitivity of the buttons is as comfortable as possible. The fact that the buttons are mechanical is especially pleasing: it's nice to feel the feedback from pressing the button.

The main buttons that the lion's share of buyers will use most often are "start" and "stop". They are enough to achieve from the device its most beloved function of all - portioned heating of food. Auto-defrost and quick defrost do not raise any questions; The microwave power level is regulated by the corresponding button by successive pressing and varies from low to high. The manufacturer gives a table expressed in watts.

LevelPower
Short160 W
Medium low320 W
Average480 W
medium high640 W
High800 W

As in all other cases with non-inverter microwave ovens, these figures are rather arbitrary, because the magnetron always works at maximum power anyway, and the heating level is regulated by turning it off more or less frequently (which is confirmed by objective tests).

Some questions from the user can only be caused by learning the modes of the so-called international cuisine, but our tests have shown that - alas! - for all the beauty of the name, the proposed recipes for "programmed" dishes are in most cases useless.

Instruction and recipe book

Documentation, in addition to the warranty card, consists of two books: safety instructions and instructions for use. In the first one, you can find various warnings, as well as tips on setting up, heating, turning food during cooking, etc. The user part contains a picture with a button layout, an incomplete sheet of information about the controls, and several pages of “international chef” recipes.

Recipes sorted by national cuisines: Russian, Italian, Oriental, etc. Why and for what purpose such a set was chosen, it was not possible to establish, but it is quite clear that one microwave oven is not enough in their preparation - in many cases, in the tested device it is proposed only to implement final stage cooking. For example, French onion soup involves cooking onions in a pan, having ready-made beef broth and heating all this goodness in our microwave. There is an obvious pulling of an owl on a globe: if a person has a stove, then he will mix the ingredients in a saucepan, and a microwave oven is absolutely not needed here, and if there is no stove (for example, in an office kitchen), then this mode will not come in handy.

In addition, the recipes contain numerous typographical errors: for example, the recipe for "spaghetti carbonara" begins with the item "bolognese sauce ingredients." Fine?

Let's take a closer look at one of our favorite recipes. It is called "meat in pots". To cook meat, you need to take 400 grams of chicken (oh), mayonnaise, potatoes, onions and tomatoes, as well as cheese. All this must be put in a bowl, mix, cover cling film with the holes made and turn on the appropriate mode. That is, there is no meat or pots in the recipe, but there is heat-treated mayonnaise and the joint preparation of potatoes with tomatoes - two points that cannot be called otherwise than a dubious idea.

A rectangle with the image of the chef Alexei Zimin is pasted on the stove. We modestly assumed that Aleksey Zimin either did not read the recipes given, or ... think for yourself.

Exploitation

Preparation for use

Microwave care

The glass tray is easy to clean dishwasher, and the roller guide below it in running water and soap. The body and glass door are wiped with a damp cloth with detergent; The manufacturer does not recommend the use of abrasives and solvents. Before cleaning, it is recommended to disconnect the device from the mains.

Cleaning up after testing was a breeze: the Easy Clean coating (as the manufacturer calls it) is really easy to clean with a tissue, and we weren't able to get it dirty in such a way that something stuck to the walls to the point that it would be difficult to clean .

Testing

Objective Tests

In the heating rate test, 500 ml of water at a temperature of 20 ° C is poured into a standard GOST half-liter jar, after which it is heated for a certain amount of time in microwave mode at maximum power, and then, after mixing, the water temperature is measured again. You can see the test results in the table.

We also measured energy consumption microwave oven in various operating modes. Here we (with the exception of sleep mode) give average values rounded to tens, which is quite consistent with both the accuracy of the equipment used and the meaning of the requirements that can be made to such tests.

test dishes

As test dishes, we decided to do the following:

  • Automatic defrosting of minced meat test sample
  • Quick defrosting of chickens
  • Warming up pots of stew
  • Dumplings
  • stuffed tomatoes
  • jacket potatoes
  • chickens

Defrosting minced meat

As a test sample, we froze minced meat weighing 800 grams, consisting of lean beef in half with medium fat pork. The minced meat was frozen in the form of a rounded lump.

On the device, the auto-defrost mode was selected for 800 grams of meat (mode 1). After setting the weight, the indicator displayed information that the process would take 14 minutes 42 seconds. When the cooking time remained 09:41, there were 5 quiet and not annoying beeps, after which we turned our minced meat ball over. At 4:46, the signals rang out again, and we found that the mince had thawed out by about a third, remaining solid in the middle. Separating the defrosted mass from the outside, we put the remaining lump for the remaining time. When the auto-defrost was over, we found that our lump was still hard in the middle, covered it with a plate and after 15 minutes received excellent result: completely thawed minced meat without frozen lumps and "welded" outer parts.

Expert Verdict: Good. In the experience of our testers, this is a good result, and all the microwave ovens tested earlier coped with the task of test freezing a little worse. However, the process did not seem super-duper-uniform to us, this is a classic defrosting in a microwave oven, perhaps a little more uniform than that of units made before the advent of i-wave technology.

Quick defrosting of chickens

As a test sample, we took two small chickens weighing about 400 grams each.

The device has been set to quick defrost, the time 02:40 flashed on the screen. In the middle, that is, after 1 minute and 20 seconds, we heard five signals already familiar to us, turned the chickens over, and after the end of the mode, left them for another 10 minutes inside the unit being tested.

Expert Verdict: Excellent. We received perfectly and completely thawed chickens, without overheated or "cooked" fragments.

Warming up pots

Pots of lamb stew, chickpeas, vegetables and dried apricots were heated in a test oven. The choice of objects for the test is explained very simply: microwave ovens usually heat dishes poorly and unevenly in ceramic pots. In this case, the task of our test subject was further complicated by the fact that lamb, chickpeas and other ingredients have a heterogeneous structure.

Verdict: excellent. Both pots warmed up perfectly evenly. Now we believe that i-wave is a technological technique, not a marketing one.

Russian cook: dumplings

We thought for a long time how we could test the collection of recipes, because they were written completely unappetizingly. However, we had no right to criticize them just like that, not believing harmony with algebra: everything should be visual.

First, we prepared dumplings by buying a frozen semi-finished product in the store. The instruction suggested taking dumplings, water (not a word about its temperature) and spices, put everything in a deep bowl, mix and cover with a film, making holes in it. We took pity on the tasters and put the dumplings in boiling water, put the bowl into the LG MS2354JAS, and then selected the appropriate auto-cook mode.

Taster Verdict: Terrible. We put them in boiling water! The frozen dumplings cooled the water anyway, and while it was heating up again, our automatic Russian chef turned the dish into a sticky and rather overcooked mass. For comparison: on the right is the same portion of dumplings, boiled in a conventional saucepan.

French Chef: Stuffed Tomatoes

In the recipe, it is proposed to fill 4 tomatoes with minced meat mixed with bread crumbs, garlic, Dijon mustard, dried herbs and parmesan, and then send the French part of the recipes to auto mode number five under a perforated film. We used fresh herbs instead of dried herbs, otherwise the recipe followed exactly.

Taster Verdict: Not bad. The stuffing had time to cook, but the tomatoes did not bake, but only warmed up, remaining raw. It turned out unusual, but quite tasty. Parmesan, however, is now banned - we found a piece of contraband in our editorial office, but we don’t even know what the reader should do.

Italian Chef: Apple Chips

According to the recipe, half an apple was cut into thin slices with a vegetable peeler, then put in sweet water, then dried on a towel, put on parchment and selected the appropriate mode.

Taster verdict: bad. Only half of the portion came on the tray at a time. That is, we performed all these manipulations in order to get crunchy chips in the middle and sticking to the edges of half-dried misunderstandings from a quarter of an apple.

jacket potatoes

In principle, you can cook a huge number of dishes in the microwave, and we decided not to go in cycles in recipes that are clearly meaningless, but to cook a couple of servings of normal tasty food, seeing how the LG MS2354JAS handles it. A kilogram of potatoes was cooked under plastic lid for microwave ovens at maximum power for 10 minutes.

The potatoes cooked perfectly and evenly, did not crack or burst. In addition, 10 minutes is fast, that is, the use of a microwave oven in this case is also justified in terms of cooking speed. Lightly salted cucumbers and other ingredients serve to decorate this photo and go well with our test dish.

Chickens in the microwave

The chickens, which we had previously thawed, were rubbed with salt, put inside a small piece butter and cooked at 80% of maximum power for 12 minutes.

Taster Verdict: Excellent. Fully cooked juicy tasty chickens are more dietary than fried, more tender than boiled ones. Uniformity and i-wave on top.

conclusions

Testing the LG MS2354JAS microwave oven turned out to be interesting and made it possible to understand that new things are possible in such a seemingly classic technique as microwave ovens. The quality of the device did not cause any complaints, the stove is characterized by ease of operation and medium dimensions, which will allow you to cook, and not just warm up a plate of food. The device looks stylish and eye-catching. The number of functions that the LG MS2354JAS performs is not too great: it's just microwaves of various powers. The device coped with defrosting, heating and cooking traditional dishes perfectly, that is, we managed to notice the results of using i-wave technology.

Maintenance of the microwave oven is facilitated by its special coating, from which dirt is easily removed.

Automatic modes, as shown by our testing, do not carry much meaning, but do not interfere with the work with the device. We considered the recipes ill-conceived and of poor quality.

The device is perfect for a person or married couple who plan to reheat and defrost with good results, as well as cook an acceptable amount of delicious and varied dishes. The oven is also useful in a small office kitchen - both for warming up ready-made meals and for preparing simple hot meals.
