A small clarification - sinks usually do not come with fasteners, but they can be easily purchased separately and are available for sale in any bathroom plumbing department. Usually it is called “Sink Mount” and consists of two washers with eccentrics, two studs with nuts and two plastic plugs.

The installation of the drainage system poses some difficulty. The sewer pipe is usually 50 mm in diameter, and the corrugation for the sink is from 30 mm. If there is a discrepancy in diameters, you will have to purchase an additional adapter sleeve for the drain to work as it should. The O-ring and cuff are lubricated with silicone for better tightness and ease of assembly.

The procedure for connecting the corrugation depends on the type of plumbing fixture. If the washbasin has a “tulip” type design, then first install the leg and assemble the siphon without attaching the corrugation. If the washbasin comes with a bedside table, then you will need to make the hole for the drain yourself - with a hacksaw or a wood crown.

As for the mixer that comes with the kit, it is better to install it before placing the sink on the stand and immediately screw on the hoses. But keep in mind that often the hoses that come with the kit are of extremely low quality. Therefore, in order not to take risks, it is better to replace them immediately with metal-plastic, copper or stainless steel ones. As a last resort, use rubber ones with metal braiding. Hoses are not the most expensive type of plumbing components for a bathroom, and the loss from a burst hose can be measured in tens of thousands of rubles (especially if you spill your neighbors). Therefore, saving on hoses is simply pointless and even harmful. Before going to the store, measure the length of the hose.

At the end of the bathroom plumbing installation, check the entire structure for leaks and treat the joints with the wall with silicone sealant. Excess silicone can be easily washed off with a wet, smooth cloth or just a wet finger before it dries.

Note: it also happens that the installation of bathroom plumbing was carried out correctly and in compliance with all requirements, but water does not flow. This is usually explained simply - you stirred up all the dirt in the utilities, and it simply clogged the mixer filter. Checking this is very simple - unscrew the filter, drain the rusty dirty water, rinse the filter and install it again.

Having marked the points, drill. Consider the presence of tiles, as is the case with other bathroom fixtures. Treat all connections with silicone - this will add rigidity to the structure and make assembly easier.

The final stage is installing the tank and checking the entire structure of the bathroom plumbing. Don’t forget to adjust the water intake from the tank (how to do this is written in detail in the instructions and depends on the type of tank). We check all hoses for leaks by hand or using paper napkin. Treat the area where the toilet bowl meets the floor with white silicone sealant to protect it from moisture and just for beauty.
