Currently, many residents of the metropolis are trying to move to Fresh air, out of town. Therefore, construction has become increasingly widespread country houses, cottages, dachas. Water supply in such conditions occurs from wells or wells by raising water using a pump.

For such cases, the Vodomet submersible centrifugal pump is perfect. It has proven itself to be an inexpensive submersible well pump.

Submersible pumps The Vodomet series are intended for pumping water of varying degrees of contamination, as well as for supplying clean water from wells, reservoirs, and wells. The difference between submersible pumps and other types is that they are completely submerged in water and can pump water to great heights.
Submersible pumps for wells (downhole) are installed in wells, as well as in wells in order to supply water from a depth of up to 50 m.

The Vodomet 60/32A borehole pump is a pump of a patented design with the most advanced operating characteristics. This series is adapted to Russian conditions, and this adaptation is largely achieved through durable and, most importantly, wear-resistant materials. A striking example of this is: the impellers, as well as diffusers, are made of LEXAN polymer, in addition, the support bearings are made of ceramics and graphite, which greatly helps to extend their service life. Since the electric motor is located above the pump part, the power cable is routed out of top cover pump Firstly, this allows the use of a casing pipe of a smaller diameter during installation, and secondly, it reduces the overall dimensions of the borehole pump. In addition, the electric motor of the Vodomet series pump is protected from overheating due to the flow of water washing it, which passes through the annular gap between the stator shell and the motor housing.

The submersible pump Vodomet 60/32A is capable of pumping water containing, in suspension, several kilograms of sand per cubic meter of water.

VODOMET pumps compared to vibration pumps:

  • have greater efficiency, since rotational motion is more economical than reciprocating motion due to the absence of a “start-stop” mode;
  • less noisy;
  • much more durable, since they do not have a quickly wearing valve-piston system;
  • do not provide harmful influence on the well and the entire water supply system, since they do not have significant vibration.

The use of a mesh (1.5x1.5 mm) filter instead of a slot filter better prevents the penetration of long particles into the pump that can clog the pump. All parts of the pump that come into contact with the pumped water are made of materials approved for contact with food products.

Centrifugal Submersible Pump "Water cannon" is a multi-stage electric pump with “floating” impellers, a “washed” electric motor and a built-in capacitor. The Vodomet submersible pump is designed to supply water from wells with internal diameter from 100 mm and more, as well as wells, reservoirs and open reservoirs for the water supply system of the house, irrigation of the garden and vegetable garden.

Submersible pumps "VODOMET" compared with vibration pumps:

They have greater efficiency, since rotational motion is more economical than reciprocating motion due to the absence of a “start-stop” mode;
- submersible pumps are less noisy;
- submersible pumps are much more durable, since they do not have a quickly worn out valve-piston system;
- submersible pumps do not have a harmful effect on the well and the entire water supply system, since they do not have significant vibration. Silence is one of the the most important features"Vodojet" pump: the house will not be filled with extraneous noise during its operation.

Well pumps"WATER-JET" compared to vortex jets:

Borehole pumps have greater efficiency;
- are not subject to changes in parameters over time, while in vortex pumps, wear of the working surfaces reduces the flow-pressure characteristic;
- well pumps are less noisy;
- borehole pumps are not so sensitive to contamination.

Pump "VODOMET" with "floating" impellers compared to traditional ones:

It has greater hydraulic efficiency due to the independent setting of “zero” gaps, which increases the pressure characteristics of each impeller. It reduces them required amount, i.e. the axial dimensions of the pump, the mass of the rotating parts, and, consequently, vibrations are reduced;
- has less tendency to clog, as they are able to pass large particles. For use in living conditions the "Water Cannon" system is ideal: the house will always have working system water supply

VODOMET pumps with a “washed” electric motor have a number of advantages compared to devices of a traditional design:

The location of the electric motor above the pumping part allows the power cable to be removed from the top cover of the pump, which reduces its dimensions and allows the pump to be mounted in a well with a casing pipe of a smaller diameter (it is cheaper);
- the electric motor of the well pump is reliably protected from overheating by the flow of water washing it, which passes through the annular gap between the stator shell and the pump housing;
- the location of the seal at the top point of the hydraulic part of the pump protects it from sand, and, therefore, significantly increases its service life;
- the design of the pump allows it to be used in a partially submerged position, for example, in open shallow reservoirs;
- VODOMET submersible pumps with a built-in capacitor eliminate the capacitor box and allow the use of a conventional three-core cable instead of a four-core one, which simplifies installation;
- the use of a mesh (1.5x1.5 mm) filter instead of a slot filter more effectively prevents the penetration of long particles into the pump that can clog the pump. All parts of the pump that come into contact with the pumped water are made of materials approved for contact with food.

Main: Borehole pumps "VODOMET" PROF series (40/50, 40/75, 55/35, 55/50, 55/75, 55/90, 110/110, 115/95Ch, 125/125Ch), as well as old ones models (60/32, 60/52, 60/72, 60/92, 115/75, 115/115) are modified for use in so-called “sand-filled” wells. They effectively pump water containing several kilograms of sand in suspension per cubic meter of water.

Pump with index "BC"- with cable length 1 m.

Pump with index "A"(automatic) is equipped with a float switch that prevents the pump from operating without water. Such a pump can be used in a well or other source that has sufficient space to accommodate a float switch.

Pump with index "HOUSE" is equipped with a hydraulic accumulator, control panel and the necessary shut-off valves, allowing you to assemble an automatic water supply system.

Pump with index "M"(main) a fitting is installed, which allows the pump to be used as a surface pump, built into the water supply main.

Pump with index "H"(frequency converter) equipped electronic system automatic control, which provides " smooth start" pump, protection against "dry running" (from pump operation without water flow) and precise maintenance of a given pressure in the water supply system, regardless of flow.

An important feature that distinguishes submersible borehole pumps "Water cannon" from models of other series is that two seals are used here, which are assigned different functions. One of them is responsible for sealing the pump part and also serves excellent protection engine from excess pressure that may arise during operation of the pump stages. The second type of seal seals the electric motor itself and serves as a kind of separator for the internal part, which is filled with oil. In addition, this seal separates the environment into which the pumping equipment is immersed. Thanks to this design, it is possible to minimize the influence high pressure on engine parts located in the pump housing. It is possible to protect the seal and membrane from high pressure, which is a big advantage of the PROF series pumps, since previous modifications of the equipment did not have such a mechanism.

Submersible pumps "Vodomet PROF" are reliably protected from leaks of the pumped medium due to the fact that in this model the guide vanes have a separate radial seal. Thus, it was possible to achieve a high degree of tightness of the pump stages.

The thermal switch is located outside the oil-filled cavity, making diagnostics easier pumping equipment and repair work.

All these improvements have made it possible to improve the operation of the Vodomet PROF pump by an order of magnitude. It has become more economical, reliable in operation and convenient for repair.

Borehole pumps are often called deep pumps. Indeed, their purpose is to lift water (usually clean drinking water) from drilled wells from considerable depths, since it is known that the deeper the aquifer, the higher its quality.

The specificity of the task determined and design features pumps of this type. All of them have a characteristic narrow elongated cylindrical shape. The diameter of the housing is designed to accommodate the unit in standard pipes lowered into drilled wells. Moreover, for normal operation The pump requires a gap between the housing and the pipe wall of at least 10-30 mm. The vast majority of products are gradated in diameters of 3 or 4 inches.

Well pumps differ according to their operating principle:

    Vibrating electromagnetic – inexpensive in price and economical to operate. However, they are not characterized by high productivity and the ability for long-term uninterrupted operation. Moreover, vibration vibrations over time negatively affect the condition of the well walls.

    Centrifugal– their cost is higher, but also performance characteristics much better. They are capable of long-term and productive work without requiring special Maintenance. As a rule, they have several (3 – 4, sometimes more) working chambers and wheels (stages), which gives the required rise of the liquid to a greater height.

    Borehole pumps of the vortex or screw type are less common.

Most well pumps have a built-in check valve. The mechanism is cooled by the flow of water passing through the working chamber. Special attention always pay attention to the material of the housing - it must not have any influence on the cleanliness and chemical composition taken water. Most pumps are assembled in a stainless steel housing.

What to look for when choosing:

    Network settings

    Most of the pumps used are powered from a 220 V network. It is worth noting that these units are very sensitive to voltage changes, so they are often equipped with special safety devices and sensors.

    Power

    deep well pump must ensure a stable supply of water from the required depth. This value is linked to the maximum immersion depth, the height of the liquid rise, and the required values of productivity and pressure (pressure) of the water column. All these parameters must be indicated in the product passport.

    Maximum size particles

    Deep well pumps are always designed to pump clean water. The concentration of suspended matter in it should not be higher than 150 mg/l.

    Equipment

    The pump can be equipped with a long connecting electrical cable and a control unit.

Installation

The well pump is completely ready for operation, you just need to plug the plug into the socket

However, everything electric installation work(installation of a socket, connection to the power supply, grounding, etc.) must be carried out by a specialist in accordance with safety regulations.

Installation of the device in a well involves placing the pump in a casing pipe with a minimum internal diameter of 500 mm.

To immerse the pump, use a steel cable pulled through two eyes in the top cover of the pump.

The presence of a built-in capacitor allows the use of a regular three-core cable (instead of a four-core one), making installation much easier.

It is prohibited to install the pump at the bottom of the well to avoid stopping the pump. The distance to the bottom of the well must be at least 1 meter!

Note

· The pump should be protected from direct impact sun rays and do not place it near heating devices.

· Before a long period of inactivity, the pump must be flushed with clean water, drain the remaining water, and then dry the device.

· The ambient temperature in the room where the pump is installed should not drop to minus values.

SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS “VODOMET”

This is a submersible centrifugal multistage electric pump with “floating” impellers, a “washed” electric motor and a built-in capacitor.

VODOME T pumps are modified for use in so-called “sand-filled” wells. They are capable of pumping water containing several kilograms of sand in suspension (per cubic meter of water) without significant damage to themselves.

A number of the latest technologies are used in the production of pumps in this series:

· “floating” impellers, which are capable of passing large particles, and therefore are able to work even in heavily sanded wells;

· due to independent setting of “zero” gaps, they have greater hydraulic efficiency, which increases the pressure characteristics of each impeller, and therefore reduces their number, i.e. the axial dimensions of the pump, the mass of rotating parts, and therefore vibration;

· due to the absence of vibration, they preserve the well and work carefully with the entire water supply system;

· the pump electric motor is reliably protected from overheating by the flow of water washing it, which passes through the annular gap between the stator shell and the pump housing;

· the location of the electric motor above the pumping part allows the power cable to be removed from the top cover of the pump, which reduces the overall dimensions and allows the pump to be mounted in a well with a casing pipe of smaller diameter, and therefore cheaper;

· the location of the seal at the top point of the hydraulic part of the pump protects it from sand, therefore significantly increasing its service life;

· the pump layout allows it to be used in a partially submerged position, for example, in open shallow reservoirs;

· built-in capacitor allows you to use a regular three-core cable instead of a four-core cable, which simplifies installation;

· All parts of the pump that come into contact with the pumped water are made of materials approved for contact with food;

Quality assurance

The borehole electric pump of the Vodomet series has high performance, unpretentiousness to the purity of the pumped water and resistance to voltage fluctuations in the electrical network, which confirms its high-quality and reliable operation throughout its long service life.

Warranty period – 1 year

Selecting a submersible well pump model Vodomet

Two numbers in its designation will help you choose the right pump model. The first number shows the maximum flow rate of liters of water per minute at the outlet of the pump in the absence of resistance to water flow. The second number shows the maximum pressure in meters developed by the pump when operating “at a dead end”.

For example: the WATERJET pump 60/52, with free flow, supplies 60 liters of water per minute (3.6 cubic meters per hour), and when the supply is cut off, i.e. with the water taps closed, it develops a pressure of 52 meters (5.2 atm.). In extreme mode, the pump is practically not used. It is most often operated at the so-called “operating point”, with a nominal (50% maximum) flow rate at a nominal (50% maximum) pressure. However, you can select a pump based on maximum parameters.

VODOMET pumps with a maximum flow rate of 60, 115 and 150 liters of water per minute were developed based on many years of analysis of average statistical data on water consumption and the performance of water supply sources. VODOMET pumps with a maximum flow rate of 60 liters of water per minute are intended for water supply sources (well, borehole, etc.) with low and medium flow rates and with expected moderate flow rates (2-3 cubic meters per hour or 35 - 40 l/min, t i.e. 3-4 water taps) with nominal water flow.

VODOMET pumps with a maximum flow rate of 115 liters of water per minute are intended for water supply sources (well, borehole, etc.) with an average and increased flow rate and with an expected increased (3-4 cubic meters per hour or 50 - 65 l/min) nominal water consumption.

Pumps submersible WATERJETTER with a maximum flow rate of 150 liters of water per minute are intended for water supply sources (well, open reservoir, etc.) with a high flow rate and with an expected high (4-6 cubic meters per hour or 65 - 100 l/min) nominal water flow.

The maximum pump pressure should be selected depending on the vertical distance from the ground surface to the static water level in the source:
- if this distance does not exceed 5 meters, you need a pump with a pressure of 30-32 meters;
- if this distance is up to 25 meters, you need a pump with a pressure of 45-52 meters;
- if this distance is from 25 to 45 meters, you need a pump with a pressure of 60-75 meters;
- if this distance is from 45 to 60 meters, you need a pump with a pressure of 92-115 meters.

To determine the pressure characteristics of the pump, the dynamic and static water level, the depth of the source, the distance of the source from the house and the highest point of water collection are taken into account, and to determine the performance, the number of points that operate at the maximum simultaneously is determined. Having decided on the operating point parameters according to the schedule, a pump is selected. But for the system to operate automatically, one pump is not enough. It is necessary to provide a whole complex additional equipment for comfortable, uninterrupted and safe work. Firstly, for automatic mode operation of the pump, a pressure switch is installed, which turns on the pump when the tap is opened, and turns off the pump when it closes. Secondly, in order to reduce the frequency of switching on and increase the service life of the pump, it is necessary to install a hydraulic accumulator with a volume of 24 liters or more. With the help of the water reserve that the tank creates, water hammer is not only eliminated, but it also becomes possible to consume water in the absence of electricity, i.e. when the pump is not working. And if this happens quite often, or the source’s debit is small, then the tank volume can reach up to 500 liters. And thirdly, it is necessary to control the water level in the source in order to avoid running the pump without water, i.e. "dry". In this case, the float that comes with the kit will act as protection and control the upper and lower water levels. Thus installation additional devices protection will no longer be needed. These are the three main components for creating automatic system water supply based on a submersible borehole pump. Further, all this requires assembly, installation and launch. Because The pump comes with a 10 m cable, then the issue with connecting electricity is resolved. The piping and installation of the pump is usually done with a HDPE pressure pipe with a pressure of up to 10 bar. The pump is attached to the well or well with a stainless steel cable. To prevent debris, branches, leaves, etc. from entering. It is better to cover wells with canopies or covers, and for wells there are ready-made products - heads, the size of which depends on the diameter of the well. The check valve, filter, and shut-off valves are already installed on site. As soon as the blood pressure issue was resolved cold water water heaters can be installed to provide hot water, washing and dishwashers, plumbing fixtures.

Submersible Well Pumps Water cannon are not equipped with a built-in check valve, therefore, in some cases, it is recommended to install a check valve on the pump outlet. For example, when a pump is operating in a pressure-controlled automatic water supply system, a check valve allows you to maintain pressure in the system, preventing the flow of water. Moreover, the check valve should be installed in the pressure line near the pump, since in this case it protects the system from hydraulic shocks, preventing the formation of voids in the pipeline.

A valve installed above 7 meters from the surface of the water in the source cannot prevent the formation of voids in the pipeline, and this leads to water hammer when the pump is turned on. However, installing a check valve directly at the outlet of the pump, if the pump is slightly buried under water, can lead to the formation of an air lock in the pump and the water will not reach the first impeller, which will lead to "dry run" pump Therefore, if the pump is slightly deepened (up to one meter), the check valve should be installed at a distance of 1 to 7 meters from the pump.

If the pump is used for filling containers or watering, and when periodically removing the pump from the source, a check valve should not be installed, since the hose filled with water is not light in weight. However, in this case, care must be taken, otherwise, after turning off the pump, the water flows back through the pump and the hose acts like a vacuum cleaner. Therefore, a hose lowered to the ground while the water is flowing back may cause the pump to become clogged.

Water cannon pump design

The pump consists of a pump part and a washed electric motor, located in a single housing made of high-quality stainless steel. The components are centered in the housing by means of the front and rear covers, as well as an intermediate support. The pump motor is oil-filled, sealed, asynchronous with a squirrel-cage rotor on rolling bearings. A thermal protector is built into the stator winding, protecting the electric motor from overheating. The motor seal is relieved as the pressure inside and outside the motor is equalized by the diaphragm, maximum depth immersion of the pump under water 30 meters. The pump motor is cooled by the pumped water, so the pump should not be allowed to operate when there is no flow.

A design feature of the “floating” impellers of the “Vodomet” pump is their wearability. It is known that the gap between the rotating and stationary parts of the hydraulic part of the pump causes internal leaks in the pump, reducing its efficiency. Therefore, ensuring small clearances in a traditional pump is a difficult technological task to achieve. During operation, these gaps increase, which, accordingly, reduces the already low efficiency of the pumping stage of a traditional pump.

In the VODOMET pump, the impellers are “floating”, as they have the ability to move in the axial direction, pressing, under the action of operating pressure, to the rear surface of the guide vane (diffuser) of the previous stage. In this case, contact occurs along one of two pairs of rubbing surfaces. During the first hours of operation, the plastic shoulder of the impeller in the cover of the guide vane (diffuser) intensively wears out, while power consumption slightly increases and the flow-pressure characteristic decreases. As a result of this wear, the shoulder “grinds in”, providing “zero” clearance. Then, unloading the first rubbing pair, the second pair of rubbing surfaces comes into contact. This is an anti-friction washer and a ceramic ring. Since the friction of these parts in water occurs without wear, and a “zero” gap has already formed in the area of the sealing collar, the pump goes to optimal mode work. This mode is characterized by an increase in flow-pressure characteristics and a decrease in electricity consumption.

All parts of the pump that come into contact with the pumped water are made of materials approved for contact with food. In the rear cover of the pump with the outlet pipe there are two eyes for securing the cable. A waterproof, hygienic cable of the required length emerges from the rear cover of the pump, reducing the risk of incorrectly connecting the pump.

The pump with the index “BK” has a cable length of 1 m. The pump with the index “A” (automatic) is equipped with a float switch that prevents the pump from operating without water. Such a pump can be used in a well or other source that has sufficient space to accommodate a float switch. An anti-friction bushing is installed in the front cover of the pump, which serves as a support for the shaft of the pump part.

The front cover of the submersible pump has suction windows measuring 1.5 x 1.5 mm, which prevent large particles from entering the pump.

A fitting is mounted in the front cover of the pump with the index “M” (main), which allows the pump to be used as a surface pump, built into the water supply line.

The pump with the index “HOUSE” is equipped with a hydraulic accumulator, a control panel and the necessary shut-off valves that allow you to assemble an automatic water supply system.

The pump with the index “Ch” (frequency converter) is equipped with an electronic automatic control system, which ensures a “soft start” of the pump, protection against “dry running” (from pump operation without water flow) and precise maintenance of the specified pressure in the water supply system, regardless of flow.

Vodomet submersible pumps compared to vibration pumps:

· Are different great value Efficiency (reason is the absence of a “start-stop” mode, due to which rotational motion has become more economical compared to reciprocating motion);

· They have a lower noise level during operation;

· They are characterized by durability (there is no valve-piston system, which wears out quickly);

· They are characterized by reduced vibration and therefore do not destroy wells and the water supply system as a whole.

Borehole pumps "Vodomet" compared to vortex pumps:

· Much higher efficiency indicators;

· Stability of parameters over time (wear work surface for vortex pumps this reduces the flow-pressure characteristics);

· Less noise;

· They are less afraid of pollution.

“Vodomet” pump with “floating” impellers compared to traditional ones:

· Higher pressure values for each impeller due to the ability to set “zero” clearance values. This feature increases hydraulic efficiency and also reduces vibration levels;

· The tendency to clog is much less because the Vodomet is able to pass larger particles. This feature indicates the absence of frequent problems with the water supply system in private homes.

Vodomet pumps with a “washed” electric motor have a number of advantages compared to devices with a traditional layout:

· The ability to remove the electric cable from the top cover of the unit (due to the location of the engine above the pumping part), which makes it possible to install it in wells that have casing pipes with a smaller diameter (they are an order of magnitude cheaper), that is, there is an opportunity to save money;

· Increased service life due to the location of the seal directly at the top of the unit, which prevents sand from entering it;

· The equipment of the hydraulic pump makes it possible to use it in a partially submerged state, for example, in an open shallow reservoir;

· Easy installation due to the possibility of using not a four-core, but a three-core cable (there is no capacitor box, there is a built-in capacitor);

· The presence of not a slotted filter, but a mesh filter (mesh 1.5 mm by 1.5 mm), which is much more effective, since long particles do not penetrate into the pump. Each part of the pumps in this series that comes into contact with the pumped water is made of a material whose characteristics do not contradict sanitary requirements(contact with food is allowed).

The main advantages and characteristics of Vodomet borehole pumps are the following:

· The new series is modified for “sand-filled” wells (series 60/92, 60/72, 60/52, 60/32). Such hydraulic pumps are capable of pumping water, a cubic meter of which can contain up to several kilograms of sand in suspension;

· Pumps with index designation "BC" equipped with a cable 1 meter long;

· Index "A" means that the pump is equipped with a float-type switch (the so-called “automatic machine”), which prevents the pump from operating without water. Such units can be used to pump water from wells or other sources with sufficient space required to use a float switch;

· Availability of index "HOUSE" indicates a special package, which includes a hydraulic accumulator, special shut-off valves, and a control panel. Thanks to shut-off valves The automatic water supply system is easily assembled;

· Pumps that received the mark "M"(means “main”), have a built-in fitting, thanks to which it becomes possible to use the pump both as a surface element and as an element built into the water supply line;

· Index designation "H" indicates that it is equipped with an electronic system (frequency converter, hence the “Ch” marking) that has automatic control. Thanks to this equipment, a smooth start-up of the unit is ensured, and also creates reliable protection from “dry running” (that is, without water it simply will not work). Finally, due to this frequency converter It is possible, regardless of flow, to maintain a given pressure in the water supply.
