Often we are faced with a situation where almost a complete renovation of a room does not live up to expectations. This can happen for several reasons.

Photo wallpaper with sakura is also a great interior design idea.

One of these reasons is the stereotyped interior design. It would seem that everything is done from long-tested reviews and recommendations, but there is no “zest” or individuality in such an interior. That is why, only then, some people prefer to make certain modifications. A drawing of a sakura branch, especially one made by hand, is very interesting solution, which can decorate any room or area of your apartment, country house and even an office.

More about drawing

I would like to immediately note that this decoration option may be appropriate not only as wall decor, but also for curtains, as well as other home textiles, interior doors, surfaces of furniture, refrigerators and some other items household appliances. As for the styles for which drawings with images of flowers or branches of this Japanese cherry tree can be used, among the most common of them are the following:

  • Of course, Japanese and oriental styles.
  • Ethnic style.
  • Classic interior design.
  • Modern styles, such as hi-tech or loft.

In principle, if you make a drawing taking into account all the necessary requirements for decoration, take into account compatibility with interior items, and also choose the right one color scheme, then you can achieve very interesting results in almost any interior style. Therefore, we can safely assume this type The design is completely universal and suitable for any room. You can draw, stick, embroider or print a sakura tree branch in any apartment.

How to draw with your own hands

To begin with, it is necessary to say a few words about choosing a drawing option. So, the first thing you want to do is decide whether you will draw the entire tree or just make a separate branch. You can also draw sakura flowers. In any case, all these image options share the same theme. In addition, the drawing can be supplemented with such typically “Japanese” elements as images of birds, exotic plants(including bamboo shoots), small beautiful pond or even the snow-capped peak of Mount Fuji - one of national symbols Land of the Rising Sun.

As noted just above, making a drawing, as well as using other methods of images with a blooming Japanese cherry quite accessible for DIY decoration. You can do this yourself, based on certain recommendations and instructions. However, in some cases, it is advisable to turn to experienced professionals who will help you with design advice and fulfillment of the order, as they say, “turnkey”. If we talk specifically about how to draw sakura on the wall of one of the rooms in the apartment, then it is necessary to dwell on listing the main stages of the work:

  1. The first stage is preparation. If you decide to make a drawing, then it would be optimal to use appropriate surfaces, including special wallpaper that is intended for painting.
  2. Upon completion of preparation, we prepare a sketch of the future drawing. Ideas for it can be downloaded on the Internet if nothing original comes to mind.
  3. Then we begin to draw the outlines of the drawing on the wall. For this, it is best to use an ordinary pencil.
  4. We select paints of the colors that you have chosen for decoration and begin to gradually fill in the contours drawn a little earlier. Can be used acrylic dyes on water based. Flowers can have different shades, since sakura offers us a fairly wide range of different shades of red. However, first of all we are talking about the basic color scheme, then it is filled, of course, with various shades Pink colour. However, white, red, as well as green and light green (for leaves) colors are also present.
  5. Once the outlines are filled in, you can add the aforementioned birds, traditional buildings, and nature in the background.

As you can see, drawing sakura with your own hands is not so difficult. However, some people have difficulties because not all of us have even basic painting skills or, at a minimum, creating reproductions. However, for such cases, there are other ways to decorate the interior space of your apartment.

Using a stencil

By the way, a stencil designed for applying drawings to the wall surface can also be an excellent solution. As a rule, most specialty stores offer wide choose similar products. In addition to the fact that this will help reduce the time needed for drawing, it will also become easier for those people who have some difficulty drawing outlines on the wall.

Alternative decorating methods

So, let's take a quick look at some of the other alternatives you have when decorating your walls with pictures.

Sakura stickers

We are talking about inexpensive, but very attractive stickers, which are widely represented not only on the shelves of specialized stores, but also on the virtual storefronts of many Internet sites, both well-known and not so well-known. Among the main advantages that such stickers are known for are the following:

  • Affordable price.
  • Possibility to stick it with your own hands without any problems.
  • Wide range of applications (in the kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom and even children's room).
  • You can independently and as soon as possible transform the interior.

All you need for high-quality gluing is following the instructions. As a rule, such stickers are made on the basis of PVC, and, as is known, vinyl coverings differ not only in durability, but also in the ability, if necessary, to wash them with a damp sponge and by special means. Thus, if you decide to buy sakura stickers, you can be sure of the right choice.

Fabric decorative panels

Another way to decorate the interior with images of sakura is to use special decorative panels, which are made on the basis of woven material. Such textile tapestries will look optimal in the interior of a classic living room, as well as in a small corridor (hallway), also made in traditional motifs. Oriental and ethnic styles are also suitable.

Interesting! Such panels with sakura embroidery can be used not only on walls, but also on other surfaces.

So, with the help of a woven picture you can decorate a door or even a closet. Such options may be especially interesting for adherents of the Feng Shui style, provided that the design is harmoniously combined in color and style with the rest of the interior elements.

Photo wallpaper "sakura" in the room

And finally, don’t forget that you can always use a well-known and proven method: using photo wallpaper. Today, stores offer a wide variety of similar products, so you will not have difficulty choosing suitable option. The main task in such cases is selecting the size of the image, its main background, as well as the material from which the wallpaper is made.

It should be borne in mind that when choosing, it is important not only external characteristics, but also practicality and durability finishing coatings. In addition, I would like to remind you that you can not only purchase ready-made photo wallpaper with sakura (an example of such an interior is in the photo at the beginning of the article), but also ask for a custom-made image in one of specialized companies. They will always remind you of Japan - your distant homeland beautiful tree- sakura.

Standard houses have no face and are devoid of personality. Painting the walls in different colors and hanging wallpaper will not change the home much and will not be able to distinguish it from the same apartment layouts. Give the interior original look And do-it-yourself drawings on the walls can make a room unique. Even if you don't know how to draw, there are ways to decorate the surfaces of your room with simple images.

Drawings on the walls can give the interior an original look and make the room unique.

The tradition of decorating walls with paintings

In Rus' they traditionally decorated their homes with drawings. On the walls, the stove and between the windows there were horses with swan necks, bright birds and lush flowers, spikelets and the sun. The images were often schematic and accessible to everyone, without any special talent for painting. From the drawing it was possible to determine the area where the person was from.
Modern cultures have preserved the tradition of decorating walls with paintings. In the east, using patterns with burgundy and gold colors interior decoration the houses give a rich look. The home looks more luxurious than its owner lives.
Japanese cherry blossoms can be seen on the reed screens dividing the room into rooms. Birds usually flutter between the flowers.

Modern cultures have preserved the tradition of decorating walls with paintings.

In Greece they paint grapes. Vine intertwining, carved leaves and ripe grapes. Complement the main theme of roses. These plants traditionally grew in valleys and on mountain slopes. They decorated gardens and palaces. Their images were transferred to the walls inside the houses of ordinary citizens, who decorated their homes with their own hands.
A modern apartment will be decorated with drawings on the walls. It is necessary to think over the composition so that it matches the thematic design and purpose of the room. The office will look ridiculous with cartoon characters. A colorful image in the bedroom will disrupt the atmosphere of relaxation and peace.

Preparing the surface for drawing

You can make a drawing using the fresco technique or apply an image to dry plaster.

In any case, you need to prepare the wall:

  1. Clean the surface before laying.
  2. Apply a layer cement-sand plaster for alignment. If necessary, apply several layers.
  3. Cover the wall with primer.
  4. A composition with lime is applied under the fresco.
  5. For dry painting, the wall is covered with putty, cleaned and primed.

It is necessary to think over the composition so that it matches the thematic design and purpose of the room

Those who are confident in their abilities can use the drawing technique wet plaster and create a mural. The sketch is made on the wall with a pencil. The image is then created using tempera paints. You need to paint quickly before the plaster dries. It will give the lines a natural smoothness of color transitions.
Exact resemblance to real objects is not necessary and you can easily do it yourself. For a fresco, the overall composition is important without drawing individual small elements. The wet plaster will take care of the rest.
Clear lines and tonal transitions are made on a dry, primed wall. First, the background is created, then the elements are drawn. There is no need to rush and you can finish decorating your office or bedroom for several days. The easiest way to create a background and smooth transitions of shades is with a can of spray paint. Draw contours and small elements with a thin brush.

Cabinet transformation and visual resizing

I decided to create it with my own hands unique interior in the apartment. To begin with, I decided to transform the office in order to think about the decoration of the remaining rooms in the new environment. I laid the floor and started preparing the wall. I prepared the drawing and paints in advance. I decided to work in fresco technique.
A small office will become more spacious if you depict on the wall a street or park alley extending beyond the premises. I spent a long time looking for a picture that suited my taste. As a result, I drew with my own hands houses surrounded by trees and a road between them leading to the beach. I wanted to make the office feel warm by adding an image of the southern sun.

Frescoes on the wall in the interior

The first was a can of blue spray paint. The sky is dark in the corners. Then the color is blue and the middle is almost white. A strip of water was visible in a turquoise tint. Ultramarine emphasized the depth of the water and the white caps of the waves. I drew a circle in the sky with yellow paint and painted it over with a can of spray paint a shade darker. The office became warmer from the sun I painted with my own hands.
Then I painted the houses with a wide brush, medium trees and fences. By gray background I emphasized the paving stones with thin lines. The last office on the wall was decorated small parts windows, roofs, contours of flying birds.
After spending half a day, I transformed the office beyond recognition with my own hands. Creating the background and large elements with a spray can significantly speeded up the work. I finished the painting on the wall before the plaster dried. A day later I covered my masterpiece special wax. You can use matte varnish.

What can someone who cannot draw depict?

I advise artists who are not confident in their abilities to start with drawing on dry plaster. You can do the work yourself for several days, breaking it into stages.

You should prepare in advance:

  • wall surface;
  • sketch of the future drawing;
  • acrylic and oil paints;
  • brushes of different widths;
  • airbrush and spray paint;
  • stencil for ornament;
  • roller

A tree is easy to draw. Its outline can decorate a hallway, office, bedroom. Depending on the style, the image can be monochromatic or multi-colored. It is not difficult to depict branches with birds, flowers and butterflies with your own hands.
On thin plastic, draw the outlines of small images or geometric elements. Using scissors, make a template and apply colorful patterns on the walls with a roller.

Oriental patterns for the patient

The Koran forbids drawing any living thing. Therefore, in Muslim countries, housing is decorated with patterns. Geometric patterns intertwined with fantastic vines, decorated unusual plants. Creating a similar decor does not require the talent of an artist.

Patience required:

  • draw a sketch of the future painting;
  • break down into elements;
  • create a template for the geometric basis of the drawing;
  • add plant elements.

Select colors according to the purpose of the room. For the kitchen and living room, bright, contrasting colors. In the bedroom pastel shades. In the office there are strict colors, restrained shades. For preservation, cover the drawing on the wall with a matte transparent varnish.

Ways to transfer drawings to the wall

I used a simple method of enlarging a picture by squares, mastered in childhood, in the bedroom. I found a beautiful image. Changed it a little using Photoshop. Then I printed it on a printer, having previously applied a grid. I didn’t want to draw it with my own hands. The wall was broken into the same number of squares. Then I drew the outline of the design on the wall with a pencil.

Step-by-step instructions for drawing a willow branch, a whole tree and a landscape with a vase with willow branches in pencil and gouache.

Nature feels spring in different ways. For example, the willow opens its fluffy buds early and attracts our attention.

We love to put its branches in vases and depict it on postcards and paintings dedicated to Easter holidays and Women's Day.

It is quite simple to draw test twigs using both pencil and gouache. Let's look at the features of the process in more detail.

How to draw a willow branch with pencil and gouache step by step?

willow branches lie on the table and are painted with paints

There are several ways to draw a willow branch with gouache:

  • with preliminary pencil sketch
  • without a sketch blank

In the first option, do this:

  • draw a bunch of willow branches. These are curved lines, the ends of which are slightly turned in different directions,
  • add ovals the size of your pinky tuft. Use a pencil without pressing along the branches,
  • at the ends, mark a light fluff, moving the pencil up and down along the perimeter of the ovals,
  • add the opened buds at the base of the ovals,
  • erase the auxiliary lines and go over the drawing with gouache,
  • label the stems brown with the addition of black for naturalness,
  • Paint the fluffy buds with a mixture of yellow and white, and their base with white and black.

If your goal is drawing without coloring, then:

  • shade the branches below and on the right thicker, indicating the shadow,
  • Perform the same action for the fluffy buds located at the bottom of the picture.

It is even easier to depict a willow branch in gouache without a sketch:

  • Place white strokes on the selected background so that they can be connected with a branch,
  • draw a brown line from the far bud of the willow to the bottom one and continue a little,
  • the willow branch is ready,
  • repeat the steps to create a spring palm bouquet.

willow tree on the river bank - gouache drawing

First, decide what time of year you will paint the willow for. In winter, unlike in summer, it is without leaves; in the fall they have partially fallen off and are more yellow and brown, and in the spring there are many of them, the leaves are emerald and rich green tones.

For pencil drawing, the color of the foliage does not matter, but consider the shape of the crown and the visibility of the branches.

For example, draw a tree in summer:

  • lightly outline the massive trunk and several ovals different sizes around him and up,
  • draw more clearly the trunk and the main branches peeking out in the crown,
  • add branches falling from top to bottom with thin strokes,
  • depict the play of shadows with shading,
  • erase the auxiliary lines on the willow crown.

To create a drawing of a willow tree in gouache, prepare a pencil sketch like this:

  • draw 2 lines going in different directions from one point. This will be the trunk and direction of branching of the willow crown,
  • add thickness to the trunk at the base, add the curvature of the roots with soil and unevenness of the bark for realism,
  • Add falling strands of branches above each branch of the trunk from top to bottom. They will look like thick skeins of hair,
  • then draw more branches to the right and left of the resulting sketch, from above to the desired level. Focus on your feelings of beauty,
  • take into account the location of the strands of branches on different plans. Those that are closer to you are fully visible, the rest are partially visible.
  • Color the result with gouache. Be aware of the shadow and mix colors to depict it.

How to draw willow branches in a vase with a pencil?

willow branches in a vase, drawing with paints

First draw a vase. Think over its details - material, color, shape, presence/absence of water.

For example, let’s look at a drawing of a figured vase with a narrow neck:

  • draw a vertical line equal to the height of the future vase,
  • mark the intersections with perpendicular lines at the points of the bottom, neck and top,
  • draw flattened ovals,
  • connect the far points of the ovals to the left of the central vertical with curves,
  • repeat the action symmetrically on the right.

Add willow branches to an opaque vase. Use the tips previous section for drawing willow branches or:

  • outline the branches and add ovals of future flowers on both sides of them,
  • add volume to the willow twigs with parallel lines and opened buds,
  • if you plan to place the vase with the willow not close, then do not draw fluffy ends to the flowers,
  • erase the guide lines and add shading for volume,
  • Using the eraser on the right along the contour of the vase, draw highlights.

A few pictures to illustrate the above:

tools for painting willow branches in a gouache vase, brushes and canvas on the table

Think over the background for the picture. For example, a vase will stand on a table near open window houses on the river bank. On the opposite bank there is a forest and bushes with early leaves.

Since the willow blooms early, there is a minimum of greenery around and it is of light green shades mixed with brown soil.

The procedure for drawing a willow in a vase:

  • divide a sheet of paper into 4 colored parts - a brown horizontal stripe at the bottom, above it there is brown-green grass, then there is a stripe for the crowns of trees and bushes made of black, brown, green and gray tones, and the tallest one is blue with white and yellow. They will convey the shade of the spring sky,
  • To play with colors, mix their primary shades with white. Use a wide, hard brush
  • Against the background of the table, sketch out the outline of a vase with a pencil. It will be with water, so add diluted strokes with white paint,
  • emphasize the shadows with gray-blue strokes. For the vase, follow the right outline in gray,
  • Use a brown tone to draw several lines from the vase. These will be willow branches
  • use a thin brush to mark the black spots where the buds begin to grow,
  • white fluffy details, form them into canvas colors, surrounding the places with them in other shades,
  • in the center of each blossoming bud, mark the cores from a yellow-white mixture of paints,
  • Using the smallest brush, apply short strokes around the buds to give them fullness. Alternate white and yellow paints.

Designing a wall newspaper is not as simple as it might seem. Many of those who receive such a task for the first time do not even know where to start. If you need to make a wall newspaper or a spring-themed manual, then this idea will be very useful. The material can be drawn up on a large sheet, and photographs can be placed in paper flowers. It turns out a bright spring twig.
To work you need the following components:
- whatman paper (or a piece of wallpaper);
- blue gouache;
- a brush (or a piece of foam rubber);
- a sheet of white paper;
- double-sided colored paper in pink and green;
- scissors;
- thermo gun;
- a simple pencil;
- tree branch.

From a sheet of white paper we cut out a stencil of a flower with round petals.

Using this stencil, we cut out flowers from pink double-sided colored paper. There should be a pair of them.

On half of the flowers, bend the petals forward. The second half remains unchanged.

We glue the flower with bent petals with a heat gun onto the flower with straight petals.

We make 6-10 colors.

Cut out leaves from green double-sided paper oval shape and bend one of the corners a little.

Glue flowers and leaves onto a tree branch. They are securely fixed with a heat gun.

We cover the Whatman paper with blue gouache paint using a brush or a piece of foam rubber.

This is what a wall newspaper looks like. We glue the text information on whatman paper (the place in the photo is marked with blue paper), and in the middle of the flowers we place photographs on the topic.

Original, interesting and unusual. Such wall newspapers are often hung by kindergarten teachers or school teachers.
Adviсe
Flowers can also be cut out of white paper; they will look no less attractive.
if you have corrugated paper, then the leaves from it will also fit harmoniously into the work.
To secure a twig to whatman paper, you can use a needle and black thread. This way it will hold even more securely.
On the empty space of whatman paper you can glue miniature flowers, cut out using a figured hole punch from the remains of colored paper.
