The width of the drawers should not exceed 0.5 m. Standard plywood from which the pallets are made will also not withstand the load. As a compromise, it is replaced with durable chipboard or MDF.
The maximum permissible width of a hanger rod is 1 m. Even if it is made of metal, heavy loads in the form of bulky outerwear can, if not break its integrity, bend it.

These general rules apply to all wardrobes, not just the compartment type.
